They're almost always busy. Food is very good for the price, but the counter staff is pretty consistently rude (or, at best, indifferent about providing a pleasant experience). They're always barking questions at you as soon as you walk in before you've even looked at the menu. And tell them you aren't ready to order (as you've likely only just walked through the door and been at the counter for mere seconds), you'll likely get attitude for days. I don't know if this is the product of a lack of emphasis on customer service or just the result of the pressure felt from the crowds that descend upon this place. Probably a little bit of both if I had to guess.
Place had a particularly bad smell to it when I came in today, and it wasn't the crowd (I'd JUST beat the lunch rush; place was empty when I got there but packed by the time I left with my to-go order).
Boxes everywhere on every table with aggressive notes written on them about not touching or opening anything. This, rather than putting notes on the tables about being closed due to social distancing requirements...or better yet just storing away the tables and actually providing patrons the ability to properly socially distance in the first place while they wait for their to-go orders (since they weren't allowing dine-in orders anyway).
They also have a bad habit of assigning you order numbers, but then the one cashier processing out the orders calls like five numbers at once, resulting in the likelihood four people who ordered after you will get to the window before you and, in turn, get their orders before you. They just need to call one number at a time, especially with a dining area so chaotic and disorderly that the space works against patrons looking to distance themselves from non-mask wearers or just people in general.
All-in-all, this place is perfect if you find them on a food delivery app because, again, the food is great (at least the cheesesteaks and fries are; that's usually all I ever get so that's all I can speak to). Unfortunately, everything else that makes them a restaurant is far...

Didn't have a great experience last time but I decided to give them a second chance.. let me start by saying this place has really gone downhill in my opinion.. called in my order to go and when I got there.. it wasn't ready but okay no problem I'll wait.. and then noticed person after person arriving ordering already getting their food.. fine.. I'll wait some more it's not ready.. then asked one of the girls upfront if my number had been called and she said no.. okay, I'll wait some more.. waited and waited.. finally I went up again and asked how much longer.. said it had been just sitting there right behind them ALL THIS TIME... apparently it didn't have a number... frustrated I asked if they could remake it because I wasn't about to wait that long and eat cold food.. ultimately they decided to just refund me the money I guess because they were too lazy to make the food again.. Not even an apology :/ Like seriously?? Can't even make it right??? I'm sorry but I don't care who's at fault.. whether it was the person who's taking the orders or the person upfront passing out the orders..they lack attention to detail.. something you can't teach.. would've been understanding had they had they been super busy and backed up but no it wasn't at all! The girls there were just slowly pacing back and forth not knowing what to do with faces without a care in the world.. chewing gum or food I don't know but Very unprofessional... they just lost my business completely.. Read moreWhat a sad sad day!!! The last time Im ever going back to this place. Mell, me and the boys went there for lunch today....... Ordered a couple cheesesteaks......Asked for plain jane meat and cheese, cause Nanner doesnt like all the onions and stuff...... One came out correct, one was with everything mushrooms and all. We told them, our cheesesteak came out wrong and asked for what we ordered....... at first it all seemed fine....till the lady behind the counter started chewing the ass of the girl who took the order.....and im guessing the girl didnt wanna get in trouble, so she said "they ordered the second one with everything on it" clearly cover her own ass because she was in trouble.....after making a huge deal arguing among themselves they proceed to tell us, theres nothing they can do....... and that we need to eat what we ordered. I asked to speak to the owner..... I had to let Mellie talk to him because she is able to keep her cool...... Proceeded to explain the situation..... told us the same thing....... other customers witnessing this were outraged.......saying things like......why dont they just exchance the sandwich......to which we replied I have no Idea.......
Done Done Done........ Never goin back...
