Russo's Pizza Hamburg — Restaurant in Hamburg

My son came to visit a few months ago and we stopped in for our Russo's fix (their food is addicting!). He ordered a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. I expected it would be a typical BLT served on toast but it was ANYTHING but typical! It was HUGE...a BLT SUB! His comment: "This is the best BLT I've ever had!" So when my daughter & I stopped in a couple weeks ago, we decided to split one. WOW! What an experience!!! It had plenty of lettuce and tomato, but was absolutely LOADED with yummy bacon!!😋 Russo's certainly knows how to make a BLT memorable!!! I think their bread is the underlying secret to their success. It takes me back to my childhood and our sweet little Italian neighbor. Every time she baked bread, she'd invite us kids over and we'd sit in her hammock under her grapevine, savoring every last crumb of her delicious bread! I've tried their pizza in the past and found it to be mediocre. I read the reviews and decided to give them one more chance. I ordered a large special boli. It was OK. Nothing spectacular. What troubled me most was the fact that I was charged an extra 4% fee for using my card?! Being a business owner myself, I understand the fees imposed by credit card companies. It is my feeling that the extra expense should be figured into the price of the goods or services. No one wants to be charged extra when they use their card. No one wants to be charged extra for using cash either. It's all in perception which is why the cost of credit should be figured in when you set your pricing. Just my opinion. I’m a door dasher and I recently picked up and order from Russos and right when I was about to drive away the cashier ( or manager) I’m not sure came up to my car and threatened to call the cops if I didn’t show her my phone ( the confirmation) after i showed her the CONFIRMATION OF THE ORDER! she insisted I get out of the car and give the foood back? Meanwhile my pit bull in the backseat is freaking out and barking I requested if she would step away ( she had her hand ON my window) and leave me alone but still threatened me untill I drove away.
