Came in on a Friday to catch up with a friend; the cruddy Top 40 dance pop was so loud we could barely hear each other shout across the table. Despite claiming to be a craft brew centric bar, the waitresses (whom I heavily suspect were hired solely based on their appearance) did not know the name of a single beer on tap, instead insisting we refer to its number on the list card, of which there were precious few. Ended up having to get the same beer twice because I didn't memorize the numbers of the others and shouldn't have had to. Most of the back wall is taken up by several cooler doors of package-goods local craft beers, which were sold at easily 150% the price of the exact same beers available from the Super Buy Rite less than a minute walk down the road. The industrial-chic decor and low, multicolored lighting lead me to believe the owner is trying to dress this place up as some kind of hip downtown NYC or Philly bar which is pretty silly considering it's on Route 33...
Read moreI hosted my husband's surprise birthday party at Blend this weekend and it was the most amazing experience we could have asked for. In the beginning stages of planning Antonio and his team were so incredibly helpful. They accommodated every single request and went above and beyond to ensure everything was exactly how I wanted it.
Before the party started I arrived about 90 minutes early to set-up. They section was already reserved for me and the staff helped me with everything I needed. The bar manager came and introduced himself as well, which so very sweet.
During the actual party our dedicated waitress was kind, quick, patient and attentive to our entire group of 30 people. The food was delicious, the beer and drink selection was amazing and everyone had a blast. Prices were very fair.
I would 100% recommend Blend to anyone looking to host a private event, or simply for just a good dinner and some drinks. Thank you...
Read moreI enjoy coming here and will be back. My only piece of criticism is that I specifically ordered a Canned Beer on Tuesday ONLY because of the 30% discount promotion that is advertised. If there wasn't supposed to be this particular discount, I wouldn't have ordered it. Yet, the bartender did not end up taking off the 30% from the Canned Beer when he presented the check. So from now on, I'm going to have to keep a much closer eye on any of their food/beverage promotions that are supposed to be given, because this leads me to believe that it's more on the responsibility of the customer to make sure the staff takes off any discount. Maybe he forgot, perhaps it was a mistake. Either way, this shows that customers cannot rely on their server to follow through with applying a discount to the check and that the promotions are not automatically applied to checks in their...
