I have been a client at beautique for the past 5 years. Jacqueline has single handedly changed the way my hair looks and feels. I have very wavy and curly hair and she cuts it in a way that best suits me. We always have a consultation before she does her hair magic and my hair comes out looking great every time. I’m very active and she has recommended products and hair routines to help keep my hair healthy and damage free. I also have a lot of grey hair (welcome to your 40s) and she makes sure the color blends in with my blonde hair so after a few weeks you can’t really tell where the grey starts or blonde begins before my next appointment. Aside from the staff being knowledgeable, it's the energy in the space that makes me feel most at home. Being a smaller salon you can get a feel of a closeness between the staff and clients that I haven’t been able to find in other salons. Everyone is laughing, enjoying themselves and overall you feel right at home while being pampered and feeling beautiful. (I mean come on “beautie” is in their name!) Another thing is how they train new employees. The other more seasoned staff speaks knowledge into the new staff members and you truly can feel that they are a community of women who are supporting other women to succeed. The head massage is the best and they offer a hot essential oil towel when your wash is finished. Read moreSo, I came in for highlights and a trim. The highlights were done in a way that if I wore my hair up, there was like an obvious ring around my head.
The back of my hair was supposed to be blonde underneath, so I could dye it with a pink shampoo I use. This didn't even look like it was done at all.
Nobody said a word. I know she saw this. She didn't care at all. She let me leave, took tip money, and let me walk out the door looking like a joke.
I went back to get it fixed, and it looks better, but the fact they have ppl charging full price to do highlights that don't know how is ridiculous.
Honestly, they really didn't seem to care that it even happened. I emailed them since they were closed, and nobody got back to me. I had to wait until they opened on Tuesday. So I called in and had to wait 2-3 hours for a return call. Meanwhile, my hair looked ridiculous.
It's so frustrating because they post all of these pictures of girls with great highlights and pretty hair. That's what I wanted to go home with to my husband. Instead, he ran his fingers through it and said, "looks like they messed up." Like, why couldn't my hair...
Read moreI first started going to this salon at the beginning of 2024. I enjoyed my experience with my haircuts and coloring at the time. However, when I decided to work with the salon for my wedding hair/makeup I had a different experience. I had a great hair and makeup trial back in March and put a deposit down. The stylist who did my trial ended up leaving the salon. No one from the salon reached out to me, and I had to find out through word of mouth that she left. I then called the salon to discuss the bridal contract. One of the owners who answered the phone was very rude to me. She refused to issue any type of refund of the deposit or money spent on the trials, and also did not offer anything (even sympathy or an apology) for the inconvenience. The stylist who used to cut/color my hair also no longer works there, so I will no longer be using this salon moving forward.
