Donatos Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton

It pains me to give this review because Donatos is my favorite “chain” pizza. With that said I am done ordering from this particular location. I have been noticing a decline in good service and quality of pizza over the past year or so. The last two times were the straw that broke the camels back for me. Two weeks ago I was there to pick up my order 5 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. Not only was it not ready, they couldn’t “find” my order that was placed through the app. Once they did they started preparing it and 20 minutes later they presented the wrong pizzas. So I waited for another 20 minutes to make another pizza. There were workers walking around in no masks talking like they were in a high school locker room in front of customers. The last time I ordered the pizza arrived an hour and a half after it was supposed to be delivered. When I called about an hour after it was supposed to arrive I waited on hold for 10 minutes and the guy who answered said with an unsure voice that it just left the building and the driver was backing up his car as we spoke. 20 minutes later I get the auto email that my pizza was just leaving the building... These are just two of the several unfortunate experiences I have had with this location over the past year. I guess I’ll have to drive to West Chester to enjoy Donatos...

Would love to give no stars but can’t. MANAGER AARON is an unprofessional, arrogant arse. I put an online order in for two custom sandwiches which had double pepperoni, onion, banana peppers, pickles extra mayo and extra lettuce. I had a steak hoagie with gravy, onions, tomatoes and pickles. I received my sandwiches and the steak hoagie had no onions and had pizza sauce; the two custom sandwiches had a pinch of lettuce and mayo. I called talked to AARON and he said he’d remake it, then he calls me back five minutes later questioning what was wrong with the two custom sandwiches, and I told him it had barely any topping especially no extra lettuce and mayo. He said okay I’ll remake them and send them out. I receive the new sandwiches and the hoagie had no gravy sauce a single onion and the two custom sandwiches were no different than the one he had made last and I called talked to AARON and told him what was wrong and he said it’s not wrong because he made them and I said well their not correct he said they are because he made them and he was done with me to call corporate and hung up. I ordered from this location three days ago and I still find myself thinking about the sheer quality and attention to detail. I asked for extra ranch and lots of red pepper flakes. And that’s exactly what I got! They went above and beyond for this request resulting in an excellent condiment experience.. The order arrived steamy hot and right on time. The driver even made the trudge up my three flights of stairs, a feat not executed by many! Some may say that my experience was terrific, others may say it was delightful but for me I think I’m going to side with the teens of today and call it straight BUSSIN’!!! 10/10 recommend. Treat them with kindness and understand there is a hardworking human at the other end who is trying their best to accommodate an insane amount of orders at one time. I will be back because that pizza just hit different that night and so did the leftovers for...
