The Benninghofen House in itself had such a positive homey feel and being with Bekki and her energy just put the experience over the top!! The apartments were so clean and cozy with full kitchenettes in each. I would recommend The Women’s Wellness Retreat to all of my ladies and will be attending more in the future. It was one of the most relaxing experiences I have had in my life. The backyard is private and cozy, with a fire pit and hot tub. The massage just took it to another level. I am a Mommy and a Wife and it was so nice to get away learn some amazing breathing and yoga techniques and have some me time. With the busyness of life I rarely have ME time and let me tell you this was the perfect balance of that and fellowship with other ladies of all ages and walks of life that have the same feelings. Building bonds and just loving and caring for one another, sharing goals and visions of our future. Our little group has planned to do the retreat 1yr from now to see how we have grown and catch up. Let me not forget to tell you how amazing and healthy the food was!! Bekki was very accommodating to all food allergies so most of our food was gluten and dairy free but I couldn’t tell and didn’t miss junk food one bit. Bekki and Michael at the Benninghofen House are nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, the peaceful atmosphere of the retreat washed over me. The home where the retreat is hosted is absolutely beautiful — serene, spacious, and located in Hamilton where you can enjoy local shops or just stay home and relax, making it the perfect place to disconnect and recharge.

Bekki’s yoga sessions were a true highlight. Her teachings are gentle yet powerful, creating a space for both beginners and seasoned practitioners to find their flow. The classes were designed to help us unwind, stretch, and truly reconnect with our bodies, while her calming presence made each session feel deeply restorative. By the end of each practice, I felt lighter, more centered, and deeply relaxed.

What made this retreat even more special was Michael’s cooking. Every meal was not only delicious but thoughtfully prepared, nourishing both the body and soul. His meals were vibrant, fresh, and full of flavor, made with love and care. It’s clear that Michael is a true culinary artist, and every bite felt like a gift.

I don't throw 5 stars around unless they are for real. After staying here 5 times the stars have to come out.

The home is awesome. I have stayed here alone and I have stayed with a few family and friends; each time there was a place that fit perfectly. The spaces we rented were better than every other property, and the cleanest too! The wifi supports my son and I building a new gaming system, pulling updates, downloading games and playing them. There are plenty of TVs, seats with USBs, washer n dryer etc. The shower water was very nice, hot and there was plenty of pressure. The offer of a yoga class is very cool. The kitchen is better than my own! There is plenty of space to enjoy inside and I haven't even talked about the outside! The outside is fenced in, it has a play area for adults and kids! Part of the play area is in a tree! You can cook in an oven or on a grill and I think there is even a smoker too! The lights are beautiful and when I visit my son, we always have 50 choices for food and fun because of the proximity to them. Coming back to the place with my own parking spot is nice, using a keyless entry system is fantastic. Scheduling is a breeze and billing is exactly as advertized.
