Jolly's Drive In (West) — Restaurant in Hamilton

We go here pretty often and the food is always good, but whoever bags up the to-go orders is grossly incompetent. Tonight marks the fourth time this season we've been shorted something-- once it was a coney, one time it was the fries, but this is the second time they've charged us for a burger and failed to give it to us. The two teenage girls working the counter were listless and distracted and clearly could not care less. Also there has been a steady decline in the amount of chili on everything until it literally fits into a tablespoon (yes, I checked.) Hopefully they will get their act back...

Jolly’s is not at all what I remembered.. everything down to the fries were nasty. I don’t like hormel chili so if you do, maybe jolly’s is for you but the chili tasted nasty on everything. I wiped it off the burger and realized it was one of those frozen patty burgers they used to serve in elementary school… rootbeer was flat and seems like they changed it? This iconic establishment snuggled in Hamilton has the best root beer you'll find in a drive in restaurant. The foot long hot dog has really good flavor, eespeciallywith the fresh steamed bun, and the onion rings and fries are always hot and fresh when they bring it out to you. We have been going to Jollys for years and will continue to keep coming back as long as we see that open sign. Whats better than a nostalgic day or night of hot dogs, root beer, fries and the Cincinnati Reds on the radio. Definitely...
