Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Hampstead

My son called and ordered a large cheese pizza (14") and a 2 liter soda. When the driver came to the door he said the price was $25.00!! Really??, $25.00 for a 14" pizza and a 2 liter. I mean, I understand that you have to make a profit but I used to own a pizza shop, so I know it only costs about 2-3 dollars to make a 14" pizza (including the box). I called to talk to the manager ( maybe owner) and he said he tried to make it right by taking 3 dollars off. A WHOLE 3 DOLlARS 😧. Well, we love the pizza but….. we ordered 3 small pizzas (1 cheese, 1 pepperoni, and 1 veggie), delivery fees seem to exponentially add up, so we decided to take the 5 minute drive up to the store… 43 DOLLARS !?!?&?’?!? WHAAAAAAT? For 3 small pizzas… on the food delivery apps they were buy one get one… I had to walk out and leave the pizzas just on principle alone. Not to get all political and bring up socioeconomics, but his can families afford that ? We will stick with Genova’s...

Update: June 9th 2024. Tried them again. Waited an hour and 40 minutes until order was updated to delivered, after 10 more minutes, called. They left on porch, now covered in bugs, no knock. I was in kitchen next to front door waiting, nothing. Actually got worse, despite now being twice as expensive. Will not give another chance.

Very expensive, huge delivery fees, and regularly takes 90+ minutes to deliver when I live 5 minutes away. Cold on arrival. Doubt I'll give them any...
