Asian Wok Express — Restaurant in Hampton

Would love to tell about the food but I was not willing to continue to be ignored after several minutes of waiting. When I walked in I asked if I ordered at the counter or should I sit down. I was told to sit down in the dining area. A lady who worked there was in the dining room when I walked in. She was on the phone and continued her conversation outside for the next few minutes and then walked back in and looked at me and then went behind the counter to work. After several more minutes of waiting with no service, I got up to leave. The lady turned to look at me while walking out and said nothing. By the way, there was only me in the restaurant at the time.

I have eaten from here dozens of times. Usually pretty good Mooshi...but, tonight for some reason...I was told that Mooshi wasn't available. And, usually they make the best Hot & Sour soup out there...not so tonight. Two kids manning the front/ordering...and the young lady did not act like she knew what she was doing. As a fall-back to the Mooshi, I ordered Chicken Chow Mein...it came with NO Noodles or rice...just the stuff. The Hot & Sour soup I received was "not good"...sorta like dish water with veggies in it. I threw it out after one taste. This place has a history of being very good, but...last several times...things seem to be...

Food was fantastic. Customer service could be a little bit more warmer. Got a bad rating because it was freezing in there and you could tell even the employees were wearing their winter coats. They need to turn the heat on for the customers and also for the employees. It's actually quite uninviting to come into a restaurant. There is no menus. You have to talk through a clear glass window which is fine because they use a baby monitor to communicate with you. Technology has gone a long way using a baby. Monitor is kind of really old school. For the amount of money they charge for their food, they should update...
