Stillwells Ice Cream Hampton — Restaurant in Hampton

We came in at 8:30, just trying to pick up a few prepacked items. After waiting for half an hour, the cashier finally got through the line, and informed us that they were closing in 3 minutes and she could not ring us out because she had botched the previous order so poorly.

I understand that problems occur, but this was seriously terrible customer service, rude and selfish reactions to personal mistakes, and honestly just dumb. I've worked multiple customer service jobs, and operated multiple POS consoles, and in no way was the excuse, "I need to fix the previous order before I do antything else, sorry we're closing," valid.

I will never bring business here again and will strongly recommend against anyone else supporting a business that values local...

This place was nice, but the vibe was a bit off - meaning I didn’t feel very welcome in the space.

The ice cream was good (coffee kahlua brownie with waffle bowl cone and rum raisin), plus their sizes were decent. We got the kiddie size, but honestly could’ve gone with something much smaller!

As for service, the lady behind the counter seemed like she didn’t want to be there, nor wanted to be bothered.

For the atmosphere, it felt like I was unwelcome. We sat outside since another family was eating at the bar inside. Also, there isn’t much seating, so it seems like you should just take your ice cream and go.

Overall, good ice cream, but bad vibes...

Horrible experience. I ordered 3 ice creams, 1 for my mother and another for my GF. I only ever get cookie dough ice cream and they clearly gave me just chocolate chip or have a sad batch of cookie dough with litterally no cookie dough. I asked if they could replace less than what i payed for just to have something i could enjoy and the 15 year old at the register straight up told me no... tried to eat it anyway. Got half way through and brought it back, put it on the counter and told them im all set, i dont like chocolate chip. place is a dump on top of it, would never come back or...
