Being new to the area and in need of window blinds we did a computer search of what was in the area and found Alton Bay Blinds. We made one phone call and had an immediate reply! Marty, the owner, scheduled us for a free quote and brought all window covering samples with him for us to shop in the comfort of our home. He knows all of his products well and sells high end to middle road so that there are choices. We were able to hold up the fabric to the windows and the variety was huge. You could see the coloring of materials to the paint color on the wall and made our decisions much easier. My husband always shops a project for the materials and the “ best for the money” but once he met Marty and discovered that he did the job from beginning to end he didn’t shop the project any further. Selections were made, measurements done by Marty , order was placed and not two weeks later we have beautiful coverage to 3 sliding glass doors and our windows. Marty made the installation look so very easy and there were no parts missing or damaged custom shades! We had the pleasure of working with Marty @ Alton Bay blinds. The process dealing with him was pressure free and painless. After a call with my wife to discuss options he provided us with a ball park idea on price so we had an idea of what the cost was to make sure it fit our budget. We scheduled an appointment to meet in person. He was on time and had samples of shades for us to look at. Once we picked out what we wanted he gave us a final number and it was in line with his original quote, no surprises.
