This used to be my favorite restaurant in town; I'd get food here during work, after work, when I was sick, disappointed, angry, etc. After my latest experience, I don't think I'll ever order here again. I walked into the establishment, arrived at the counter and patiently waited as the staff member in front of me filled out to-go orders on the iPad in front of him. I then proceeded to stand there for 15 minutes, not a word was uttered to me, not a single staff member made eye contact. This caused a line to go out the door as the staff continued to ignore everyone in line at the restaurant. No eye contact. Not a word. All of this while the woman working the register has been on a phone call speaking Spanish the entire time. Not a work call. As soon as I said something to the staff member directly in front of me making orders, I was again ignored and given a dirty look for interrupting his work. After another 3 minutes of waiting, I abruptly left the restaurant with my spouse, not happy with my service. For insult to injury, the woman working the register, the one on a personal call the entire time, proceeded to come out and say "If you had respectfully waited another minute, we would have taken your order". Not only was this rude, this was complete heresay and was an attempted jab at my spouse and I. If I hadn't been uttered a word to for upwards of 20 minutes, how would I know that my order was going to be taken, especially after being ignored after speaking to someone? That's a terrible way to run a business. Not one "hello". Not one "we'll be right with you". Not a single attempt at non passive aggressive eye contact. I'm honestly disgusted that this kind of work ethic is in Hampton. To a restaurant that used to be my go to, you've turned away one of your regulars. Those are the type of people you want to keep happy, so they come back and support your business. Ignoring customers and yelling one last jab at them when they want nothing to do with you anymore is a good way to lose your...
Read moreBurrito Loco in Hampton, NH is an absolute gem for authentic Mexican cuisine in the area. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by a friendly staff that immediately makes you feel welcome and valued. The food itself is fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned—perfect for anyone craving genuine Mexican dishes. I especially loved the shrimp tacos, which one reviewer described as "amazing," and the Loco Fries, which truly are over the top in a great way. The salsa is made fresh on-site, adding an authentic and vibrant kick to every bite. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, though it can get a bit loud during busy times, which feels more like a testament to how popular and loved this spot is among locals. While parking is tight, the quality of the food and service more than make up for it. Burrito Loco’s commitment to fresh ingredients and quick, friendly service shines through with every visit. Whether you're dining in or picking up, it’s clear why this place has loyal repeat customers and local fans. It’s a great find for anyone looking for honest, tasty Mexican food away from the typical chain spots. Highly recommended for those wanting to experience the flavors of Mexico in the...
Read moreLast night we ordered take out from here and were deeply disappointed, truthfully it was horrible. We ordered 2 children's quesadillas neither of them were cut and the drinks were missing from their meal. We ordered a salad, and it was missing the mango salsa, and just over all extremely bland other than the over powering onion. I couldn't even taste the pico, pineapple pico or salsa-I've ordered salads before at local Mexican/Burrito places and have never had this issue before. I picked up 2 separate orders, and only one order had chips and the other order had only 1 set of utensils (even though both orders contained salads), I also specifically asked for utensils and was told that there were utensils in both orders. The other order that was a salad was also missing the salsa. This place used to be so delicious but has quickly...
