Hannaford — Local services in Hampton

I have been shopping at my local Hampton NH Hannaford for over 5 years. Shopping there was my one stop shop. Recently, your management decided to remove 1/3 of an isle- of your room temperature beer. Which also happened to be a good selection! I asked an employee today where did all the beer go? And they told me that they did away with it as it was an inconvenience to “everybody”. Well as a consumer I have shopped at my local Hannaford knowing I was paying a premium, but you were “convenient” for me. But now you are not and I will have to make multiple stops if I shop with you. I can buy my beer at Prost. Or I can shop at Market Basket, and buy beer and groceries there- for cheaper. I am not mad at your revamping of the store, but while sitting in the beer isle scratching my head- at least 5 additional customers looked at me and were also displeased with the change. I don’t understand why they block out so many parking spots at the front of the store for the curbside pickup . There are like 8 or so spots right up at front and hardly ever anyone in them . So you shop on line go and park at the front of the store for someone to bring you your grocery’s . This is clearly done for the ease of the store and not the customer . The spots should be at the back of the parking lot and the associate can walk the items to the persons car . It’s frustrating that the walk in customer has to park way out and walk by a bunch of empty spots . It’s like you are punished for walking into the store . Move the curbside spots to the back . The employee that’s on the clock can walk a little father and put the grocery’s in the customers trunk and the walk in customer that is getting their own grocery’s maybe doesn’t have to park so far out and walk by a bunch of...

A very nice looking store, has improved in appearance over the years. Great service. Higher prices in comparison to Market Basket and Walmart. Very convenient location, right off of RT.1. Plenty of parking. Update: Saturday Morning, November 2020; Looks different from the last time I visited. I had to use the bathroom, which was in good shape. Customer service is combined with a register I could use Ipay/Android pay for my purchase. I signed up online, using their WiFi, for Hannaford rewards. RedBOX available inside. Extra 🌟 for improvement. Friendly service and curbside pickup. Update: Saturday afternoon, March 2021; I tried a premade Buffalo chicken 🐓 wrap and it was actually good.
