Peking Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Hampton

Fast. Got 50$ worth of food that not only was quick and ready before we even got there. Faster then the basic 10 minute wait you are always told lol. Not only was it very convenient but the quality was the best around the Hampton beach area. It's 2 miles inland and away from the strip but by far, so worth the 5 minute drive. Plus the steak tips on the stick where the best I've had in NH! Huge and succulent slices of steak, opposite of strips, more like slabs of steak on a stick. Memorable I tell you! House fried rice was loaded with everything, shrimp, chicken, steak, pork. Their ribs on the bone where incredible. I used to live down south on the Florida/Georgia line and barbeque is epic down there so much rich history and pride. I'm not saying these ribs are as good as grilling out down south but it does hold its own. Simply put, there awesome delicious meaty ribs reminded me of Florida country pork ribs. So they clearly in the same ballpark. Button line I just wasted 20 minutes typing this out because everyone deserves to know they are there best in town hands down. I should know considering I live on the strip, well almost rye beach but very peaceful. As long as your cool with the basic pick up style resturants with only 4 or 5 tables. But you can eat inside now if you don't want to wait to get back home to devour this flavor packed food. The dumpings where incredible and very big/filling! The egg rolls are the only option on the menu that's not worth writting home about( or...

Its not the same family running it anymore. I have lived next door for almost 10 years, have ordered over the years every other week till it got worse. Starting in January the food really went to rubbish. I tried it again in march, and I actually drove my gimp injured self back to get a refund, it was a pile of stuff I wouldn't even feed to raccoon's. Than, they argued because THEY messed up my order, and just switched out the cold items for warm ones leaving the entree ice cold. Very spiteful. I don't have a microwave available where I am, even so, if you pay $15 for a plate of food, it BETTER be a $15 plate of food....and if it means REMAKING IT to satisfy your customer, than you BETTER do it. I don't want to make it political but the timing is very uncanny with the food going to junk towards the end of January. Do better. Respect Americans.

Also notice they will respond to complaints but wont say thank you to customers who give a nice...

** Edit September 2025 Increasing my rating from 3 stars to 4 - I come here fairly regularly for the lunch specials. The food is hot and ready quick so if I'm in the area I'd choose this location for lunch over the McDonald's across the street every time. My constructive criticism is that they often place scorching hot food in Styrofoam to-go containers and it causes the container to melt. Can ruin a portion of the food and has caused leaks.

The issue with double-tipping I mentioned previously has resolved.

Beware of double tipping if you order online - Pay attention to your total if you add a tip to your online order. They will charge you that total and print you an un-itemized receipt with a blank tip/total spot to fill out, encouraging you to tip a second time. I have to write "already included" in the "tip" spot every time.

Good prices. Decent for a quick bite. Really enjoy the General tso's and the pork...
