The ambiance is cozy with good vibes, though it can get a bit warm and loud since it’s a bit small. The design is really nice, and the bar is huge! Our server was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. They had a fun cocktail selection, although the wine list was a bit limited. For appetizers, we tried the meatballs, which had a delicious sauce and cheese, the Caesar salad with homemade croutons (just needed a bit more dressing), and the calamari, which was high quality but could have been fried a bit longer. For entrees, the chicken cacciatore was super flavorful and served on creamy polenta. Definitely a highlight! The pesto pasta was fresh and flavorful, but a little one dimensional. The tomatoes they used as a garnish were great, just wish there were more to add some more flavor to the dish. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and look forward to coming back and trying the pizza once the back patio opens!

We stopped in last Wednesday and grabbed a table in the front. Staff was very friendly, seated us and told us about the specials. We ordered the tuna crudo special app, and the focaccia. The tuna was lovely, fresh and rich. The focaccia is perhaps the lightest, most airy focaccia bread I've ever eaten. It comes with whipped butter. Yum! My date ordered the cioppino, and I had the Bolognese. The cioppino was full of seafood, and we dipped lots of focaccia bread in the broth. It came with a generous portion of Semolina polenta, topped with pine nuts. The Bolognese? Mama Mia! Rich, filling, complex. Delish. I went with Fusilli. We took a lot of food home. Can't wait to try the pizza!

Culaccino's taking Phoebus by storm. Best Italian Restaurant for miles. Easy to find, limited street parking with lot in the back. They make their own dough for pizza and cook pizza in a brick oven. Pasta made in house. Dishes a large portions well worth the cost. Good selection of wine, beer, with full bar. Restaurant is clean, staff is fantastic. We loved our meal and look forward to visiting again. I highly recommend.

First time here tonight, overall it was a good experience and I will be back but everything in the restaurant needs a little tweaking (besides the cabbage special that was delicious!) the decor itself is Ok but seems unfinished and sloppy. Like they opened before it was completed. The hostess was very nice but when we walked in was just sitting down drawing and seemed unsure of what was going on. Just not a good first impression. All the food was good, and is the biggest reason I’d go back for more. But each thing was just… off a bit. The focaccia was cold and plain. The butter was salted with more salt on top. The pizza was pretty solid but just needed a minute more and like a pinch of salt. I had the mushroom Alfredo, sauce was perfect but the rigatoni was pretty gummy and again was barely warm. My wife loved the mussels but you have to serve bread with it for the broth! We had the ricotta torte which was delicious but then had clumps of powdered sugar tossed on it for some reason. Waitress was great, price was great, everything was just a little off, with some tweaks this place could be the best in...
