E's Kitchen — Restaurant in Hampton

My husband and I like to support and try different food places especially minority owned businesses. Our expectations were high just to be disappointed. We ordered the fish sandwich and the 6 egg rolls. First they attempted to give us 1 piece of burnt fish on a toasted roll which we had them replace and for the egg rolls there was very little meat and a whole lot of oil. They didn’t let it drain and those were small and lacking flavor. We also had to ask for napkins because they were not provided with the order. The best thing that we got from this establishment was the extra sweet tea which was very cold made by pure leaf. We will not be coming here or recommending this place to anyone. Food was really good and customer service was even better. I had the real wings combo and they let me try the sauces before so I could choose which one I wanted.

As a black owned business I really want this place to win, but the food is bland and seriously lack seasoning. Food also tasted like it was all cooked in the same old grease.
