I was already stressed out before I came into this popeyes to order chicken tor my son's favorite birthday meal because I tried to order at the other popeyes on mercury and they said they just had a power outage and they don't know how long it will be before they are up and running again. I had to drive almost thirty minutes to this location I tried calling first to put my order in so it can be ready when I get there and they stated they can't take orders over the phone, the person explained and I understood why. They told me to order online I told them the system will not allow me to order online with a coupon. When I came in the restaurant was packed. When it was my turn to order I gave the person the coupon. He was a little dramatic but in a humorous and kind way, which I needed since I was already stressed. I told him I was the one who tried to call the order in ahead of time. He said don't worry I got you. I watched him while waiting for my order and he went through all of the customer orders effortlessly with a smile and giving the best customer service. When it was time for my order he made sure it was correct and told me my order was ready. I never experienced this true of customer service at any popeyes. I was starting to give up hope but Stephon was awesome and he saved my son's special day. And I know he didn't do it all by himself they have a great crew and work well as a team. Him and the crew deserves a raise if the owner or manager is reading this....
Read moreThe food here is great but the service at this particular location sucks. The drive thru service is ridiculously slow. There might be two people in the line and once you get to the Drive- Thru speaker you're waiting for 3 minutes just for someone to say " Hold on a minute" and waiting again. Most of the employess are rude, slow moving, have horrible customer service, set no expectation for wait time and just generally make you you feel like they shouldn't be there or handling peoples food. They do have some employees who I see providing excellent service but they are overshadowed by the majority who act like its more important to flirt with whoever walks through the door and be on the phone than doing their job.
Also the building is due for some technilogical advancements. That drive thru is sad and needs an update. They need to better organize the services between Drive-Thru/Mobile orders and Walk In orders. The staff needs better training in customer service and the quality of the food they prepare and not just throw stuff in the bags however they feel like.
Overall I'm so done with this location and probably Popeyes sice there are only 2 locations in the area and the other one isn't any better. Shame though as I do enjoy the Popeyes food but the service is...
Read moreHad not been here in awhile but I took my 2 older sisters at their request to the drive thru. Kendale provided the best drive thru customer svc I've ever experienced! He was VERY patient with my sisters even though I know drive thru tries to keep it moving quickly & often to the point where I've said "Forget It & Keep it, I'll spend my money elsewhere" after being rudely rushed in other places. He had no idea one of my sisters has cancer & the other has health issues as well and both have loss significant weight but desired Popeyes apple pie & red beans and rice, which they hadn't had in a long time. Their health has slowed them down, they're older & take a little longer to do things but the patience of Kendale was so appreciated. It was as if he could see who was in the vehicle before we got to the window & knew they shouldn't be rushed. My sisters said, "May God bless u young man for having patience with your elders, something rare in the world today." We're grateful for Kendale being patient as they viewed the menu for what to get. Thanks go out to Aaron as well for making sure everything was delicious for them & that they had a most pleasant experience going there. If they desire to have me bring them back we'll look forward to your excellent customer...
