Susie's Sweets — Restaurant in Hampton

Very cute little shop for all kinds of treats. Shares a lot with Community Oven and now C’est Cheese. A decent number of ice cream, gelato, and frozen yogurt flavors and various toppings. Also cookies. I asked if they were made in-house and they are. Got some that were just baked that afternoon. My daughter’s cotton candy ice cream definitely tasted like cotton candy. My ice cream was rather bland. Lots of other items, like nostalgic candies, ice cream cupcakes, pre-made ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cakes, pre-packed tubs, and several kinds of refrigerated pies. Cake pops, chocolates, chocolate-covered Oreos, there is sooo much. My other real complaint is the seating. It’s only diner stools and two chairs shaped like ice cream cones. Cute, but small kids, the elderly, pregnant women (like myself), and those with certain disabilities would really benefit from some bistro tables and chairs, perhaps along the wall with a little shelf re-arranging. I had the Mint Explosion 💥, my friend, she had the Dirty Water, coffee ☕ and chocolate (?), my son, his usual chocolate 🍦 ice-cream. This was the best tasting mint ice-cream I think 🤔 I have ever had. 🍥 Swirls and large chunks of 🍫 chocolate mixed in the mint. My friend liked her Dirty Water 💧 🍦 ice-cream. Indoor seating and candy 🍬🍭 available. They share a parking 🅿️ lot with the Community Oven restaurant so parking can be tight. I recommend a visit! Susie's is an adorable ice cream shop located just outside downtown Hampton. The interior reminds me of a modern ice cream parlor - filled with bright colors and 1950s bar-style seating. The service has always been friendly when we have stopped in for ice cream and acai bowls.

The selection of ice creams is unique and each flavor we have tried is delicious! Try the Lemon Meringue Pie - it's one of my favorites and very creamy.
