Six of us arrive at 4:55pm. The place is jammed. We were told it would take about 25 minutes to clear out a table for us. No worries…It is 2 for 1 burger night, we’ll go grab a drink at Wally’s. About five minutes later, I get a text. TABLE IS READY (under promising and over delivering seems to be a recurring theme at the Fleury owned eateries). I haven’t chugged a beer (Heineken 16 ounce can…I don’t even drink Heineken “””Do I? I Did!…”””Hmmm) that fast since college. We were all seated promptly and Shamus took our order. Shamus quickly, and happily, explained how the 2 for 1 works on Mondays and then grabbed our drink order. Even though the Goat was crazy busy, we all got our orders within 20 minutes (Cooked Perfectly and served hot) The sides were delicious…How the hell do they also serve the sides on a 2 for 1 night is beyond me, but I am not going to question it. Actually, it seems like I am questioning it. Get the Street Corn Skillet BTW. Oh, the burgers were fantastic; All were juicy and tasty…and filling. And yeah…Should they not shrink the burgers on Monday since the deal is a tremendous bargain? They don’t. Wow! If I recall, our bill was about $70.00. We had 2 PBRs , 2 Red wines, and I think 2 Cokes. Ummm…The price was not wrong. No? I checked with Shamus. It was 100% correct. All that food for that price??? TIP WELL PEOPLE…TIP WELL!!!! The price, service, and food impressed us all. Go hungry! Grade at the GOAT = 100%. Thank You!

Read moreTried for the first time tonight went to the OG spot in Hampton beach, it wasn’t busy and we were sat right away. Very cool atmosphere and comfortable. I ordered the surfing cowboy (burger with pineapple, bbq sauce) my husband ordered the mac and cheese with bbq chicken our daughter got the kids tender meal (her meal was free because it was a week night). The food all came out very hot and quick, my husband loved his, my daughters was good but just basic tender and fry however a free meal is great and that scored extra points in my book. Now onto my burger I had.. ordered it medium-well lightly pink (I am 8 months pregnant so red meat is a no, no) the food came out and my burger was sooo pink i wasn’t sure if it was cooked however I am not one to send food back.. (this was my mistake, I should have asked for it to be cooked more) fast forward a couple hours and I 100% have food poisoning from that burger. My husband and daughter are fine but I am paying the consequences so if you’re looking for a recommendation, mine would be don’t get the burger lol. We don’t drink alcohol so I got a Shirley temple and my husband a lemonade, I will say the drinks were just small plastic cups, I wasn’t the biggest fan but it’s more of a bar atmosphere so it fits the theme… our total came out to $42 in my opinion the size portions you get for that price is amazing.
Taste of the food 8/10 Quickness 9/10 Over all-6/10 simply because of the issue with the burger I am currently dealing with hours later as I write this lol. Maybe I would be back...
Read moreOkay, we just spent one hundred twenty dollars, we tipped eighty dollars, we packed up our leftovers and left. When we got outside we were told it was illegal to take our drinks to go. I told the manager that it was only coke. She said it didn't matter so I threw it away. Now this same person has on many occasions let us leave both Walleys and the Goat with more drinks than I can count. If it is truly illegal to take nonalcoholic drinks from a restaurant establishment in Hampton NH then why let us go so many times with them prior. I think she honestly thought it had alcohol and when called out that they didn't said it was illegal regardless of the contents of the cup. I don't honestly know but I do know the way she made us feel was unacceptable. Make up your mind if it is illegal don't let my children and I take drinks to begin with. If so don't run across the street accusing me of illegal activity in front of my children for something like taking a coke out of the establishment. Ask your staff what was served. There were no alcoholic drinks poured in that type of cup or mixed with a coke period!!!! Don't worry we won't be back to either establishment!! Last 80 dollar tip to be given there. You know who you can thank. We had plans to return multiple times but never again. How unprofessional! I will be asking local law enforcement the laws regarding the law on taking non alcoholic...
