We ordered food here while vacationing, and walked from our hotel to go pick it up. The owner wasn't very nice about things upon arrival, scolding us & claiming that he had to give our order away, simply because we took too long (literally a few extra minutes) to pick it up. I have ordered food from several different restaurants both out in Hampton Beach & other areas, and have never had this happen before in my life! What are the odds someone had the exact same order as us? Or did he just feel like giving us a hard time? Either way, I'm giving more stars than deserved, because the food was good. Though I am surprised someone could stay in business this way, not accepting that customers may occasionally be a few minutes late picking up their orders. What if you had to use the bathroom before leaving, or got stuck in beach traffic? Or in our case, had to walk from a hotel room? I would suggest that he have a bit more patience & be more understanding of customer's. After all, we're the ones keeping you in business! People aren't going to want to return to a restaurant where they are treated rudely. Things happen, if our food isn't warm when we get it because we took awhile, we can always reheat it. Not necessary to reprimand us! Keep up the good work with the food, but lose the attitude please if you want people to keep coming. Just a suggestion! Update! While vacationing again this Summer, we ended up getting pizza from here again remembering that it was good & not far from our vacation spot. This time around, had a much better overall experience. The gentleman was much nicer than last time, food was great & ready upon arrival, no complaints like from before when our order was given away. Only thing I will add is that it was a little pricey. $50 for two large pizzas, one was only cheese, the other two toppings, garlic bread w/ cheese, few cans of soda & one piece of baklava. I would return though because the quality was there, the man was friendly & our order was accurate & prepared for us when we were told it'd be ready. Give them a try. Just...

I visited this pizza place last night after a concert at the casino, hoping to grab some slices to go with one other person. Unfortunately, the experience was awful from the moment we walked in. We were both holding waters, and as I was politely greeting who I assume is the owner asking how his night was going, he abruptly interrupted me with, "No drinks allowed." I quickly apologized and explained we just wanted to order food to go, but he cut me off again, saying no drinks and to leave.
I initially felt bad and tried to apologize for any misunderstanding, explaining again that we weren’t looking to dine in and simply wanted a quick order of slices to go if that was ok, but he wouldn’t let me finish and rudely told us to leave. "Why are you still talking? You're still standing in my store. Leave now."
Being met with such unprovoked hostility as soon as we walked in was an immediate turn-off. We calmly responded with "alright" and, without causing any further issue, left as he asked.
I understand that restaurants may have policies about outside drinks, but this is the type of place that caters to quick late-night to-go orders. The reaction was completely unnecessary regardless, especially over something as trivial as water. After looking at other reviews, it seems many have had similar unpleasant experiences here.
If I could give 0 stars, I would, as 1 star implies some level of service, which we certainly did not receive. This was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I’ve never left a negative review before, but I feel compelled to warn others who may be considering spending their hard-earned money here. Thankfully, we found a much better pizza spot just around the corner...
Read moreI will preface that the pizza is good which is why I gave two starts however the service is inconsistent. Previously, late in the night they would only sell large pizzas then a week later they only sold slices so I had to purchase an entire pizza worth of individual slices. Then most recently, we were kicked out for holding a closed box from another local establishment. My bf and I were getting pizzas from two different places to share with others and they are very different styles. We made our first stop across the street at Christie's. The box was closed and we proceeded to La veranda to order "slices". Not really thinking about holding a box since it was closed, we tried to order. They refused us service simply for carrying a closed box from another place. Clearly seeing the worker was upset, My bf politely offered to put it outside while he ordered and the worker told him NO he owns the property outside the door and to go dump the box across the street. Maybe carrying another business' box wasn't a great idea, however the treatment received over it was way...
