Ray's Coney Island & Pizza — Restaurant in Hamtramck

Edit: after multiple forgotten items/condiments/dressings, I'm cutting my losses and going somewhere else

So here's the tea: I love this place. My favorite coney island in the area. One of my favorite restaraunts. Their recipe for Avgolemono soup is unmatched. Do you know how long it has been since I've had a good bowl of Avgolemono? Before I moved to Hamtramck I had to deal with horrific watered down BS. Really good coneys. Fair prices. Perfect menu with a range of different options. I love this place so much, I eat here every week sometimes multiple times. I've gained like 10 pounds with how much I've been eating here I'm gonna be real with y'all. There's only one tiny issue with this god tier place. Every time, whether I've gotten delivery or carry-out, one important part of the meal has been forgotten. A couple times it was my drink, other times it was salad dressings or sauces that messed up my whole order. For that reason I don't bother with delivery and press my boyfriend to check the bags for everything because I have trust issues now ( and on top of that he usually forgets). Based on the great reviews, I chose this place to meet friends when I was visiting the area. When we went in, there were two young men with their backs to us. I thought they were customers so I was surprised to see them go to the back. They never came back out. The tables were absolutely filthy. I went to my car, got paper towels and water and cleaned it myself. There were so many crumbs at the back of the seats. I don’t think they clean them at all. Anyway, we waited about 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence, even if it was to say “you can order at the counter” or whatever. I use to like this place. I don't know what happened on the last 6 months. These haven't got my food right in the last 4 times I have been there. They tell you it's the way you ordered it, then soon as you get to your destination u open up to eat, it's not right. Had to take food back twice, and they wouldn't make it right after I had kept it until next day, to return it and they make it right, like they use to.
