Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Hannibal

It's been years since I have stopped at a Long John Silvers ... this place is nothing like the ones in Florida or in New Hampshire. So I said why not. I go in the woman at the counter was quick to respond to me that was the only thing that was good about the whole service. It took me 20 minutes to get my food, an older couple got served there's directly to their table and when I got it to go after waiting for so long the food was so cold. I don't complain anymore with worries that someone will do something awful to my food especially where I cannot see them, so I took my $23 of horrible food ate some of it because needed to get something in my stomach so I wouldn't pass out. So thankfully I can voice my opinion here. I will not say that I won't eat here again but after all these years I was expecting it to be delicious as it always has been. I will definitely make sure I check my food before I leave and come at a busier time lol. But the sweet tea was on point and so was the chocolate factory...

We ordered our food and after a short wait it was brought to our table and the food was good but we were not allowed to enjoy it .first a guy comes with a mop and announces that the floor will be slippery next to our table because he is mopping at a table next to us. Next a girlis making a lot of racket sweeping the floors while holding a metal dust pan on a long handle with a lid onit that opens and closes. Every sweep of her broom crea5es an annoying metalic sound. We tolerated it till she swept so close to us that she hit my wifes foot with her broom .my wife asked her if she could please wait till we were done eating to finish sweeping. She left mumbling something under her breath and started the same racket on the opposite side from where we were eating.. We didn't...

A little rundown but it was clean. Food was brought out quickly and was hot. The Mac and cheese was dry and no flavor, only took one bite. Hush puppies were fried to a rock hard tooth breaking crisp. The chicken and fish were perfect. Update: Went back today and was not disappointed!! Hot and fresh fish and chicken! The green beans were amazing. The fish was so hot flaky and delicious. The coleslaw was super fresh and delicious as well Hush puppies were perfect today! Outstanding job! Great friendly staff! Mary was a delight and awesome. Brittany was super helpful and so kind.
