Our recent experience was the first time I had been inside this building for many years; I did not patronize the previous food establishment that was at this location.
I was one of a party of 6 that dined on this particular occasion. I ordered the tenderloin; a couple people in my group ordered the fish and chips; two others ordered a burger; and one person ordered the corned beef — each entree came with its respective side. Our food arrived in a very timely and efficient manner, everything was cooked as ordered, and all was hot and delicious! 😋 There were no complaints from our party. 👍👍
Our server was pretty decent, although she seemed a bit "dry" (very little, if any, sense of humor). Perhaps she was feeling harried and rushed, and wasn't very social 🤔 — however, she still did a great job tending to us, and she was awarded gratuity accordingly. 💰💸
Overall, we had a great dining experience and we plan to return again! 👍😉
⚠️ HEADS UP If you plan to sit and visit for a bit after you have already settled your bill, be sure your drinks are already filled! Otherwise, if you attempt to order a drink after you have already tendered payment, the establishment will open a new tab and charge...
Read moreThree of us visiting from San Antonio went here for on 4/12/25 for a dinner-time bite and a drink. We really enjoyed it. The vibe was good, the service was very good, and the food was good.
The star of the meal was the Loaded Irish Chips, described on the menu as follows: “House fried chips topped with pub cheese sauce, banger sausage, bacon, and green onions.” They were absolutely glorious! The beer cheese, along with everything else described was perfect.
The three of us had the beer battered fish and chips as our meal. Overall, it was good, but the beer batter was a little different than others I’ve had. It was a little thin and tasted oily at the thin ends of the fish. The fish itself was cooked perfectly.

Read moreMy sojourn from Ohio to Oregon landed me in Hannibal Missouri the first night. I was semi hungry and it was 31* degrees out. Went looking for a bowl of good soup and a cold brew. I was initially disappointed when I arrived and found they hadn’t soup but an Irish stew. My first taste confirmed how lucky I was that they were out of soup. I was presented with a huge bowl of carrots, beef and peas topped with a dollop of mashed potatoes with a fresh parsley garnish. The fresh dinner salad, wonderful bread and a tall glass of cold Guinness rounded out the meal. The barmaids dry humor was refreshing and complemented the meal. Thanks again for being out of soup! A tip of the hat and a major thank you to the entire staff for giving me a wonderful reason for...
