Bracht's Place — Restaurant in Hanover Township

Great people, except for 1 old lady who is a real mean and grumpy bar tender there. All she does is socialize with certain people on one side of the bar and totally ignores the customers sitting at the other side of the bar. When you finally get tired of waiting for her, I have gone up to the other side of the bar to try to order my drinks...only to get rudely told by Erin that "can't you see I'm having a conversation with someone? Don't you know it's rude to interrupt? " ...even though these conversations are not with customers and go on for 5 minutes at a time..non stop !! I thought she was there to work..??? She is losing money for Brachts by ignoring customers and is rude to customers who dare to finally go up to HER..to ask to order their drinks.. Many many people there hate her and I have no idea why she continues to be employed there...?? She is too old for the image of a bar tender any way..but her rudeness is out of this world!! I leave as soon as I see her that she's working that day.. Plenty of other bars out here with very very FRIENDLY bartenders who are HAPPY to serve you. Brachts would be also better if they had some kind of a menu, besides their frozen pizza, which they are usually out of the Supreme pizza.. Veggie platter...

Great people, great atmosphere. Had fun playing darts.

I have to update my review. Bracht's is not just a bar. It's not just a place to quench one's thirst. Bracht's is a state of mind. Bracht's is a movement. Bracht's is whatever you need it to be.

Bracht's has evolved. Mehul is up in here running darts tournaments two or three times a week. Get here on a Tuesday night or a Friday night and you'll have the best time of...

One star because it's close to my house lol. I only came here once to meet someone for a drink. The bartender old lady is super grumpy and clearly hates her job especially during the late hours. This place has been around for a long time, but we don't need any dive bars in Bartlett and this one is below dive. It's the only one open super late though whenever everyone else is closed. But at that point everyone should be going...
