Dunkin' — Restaurant in Hanover Township

I placed an order at Dunkin' Donuts while on my way to pick up my mom for rehab. She had requested that I buy donuts for the nurses. Although I was originally going to order from Crumbl Cookies, I decided that Dunkin' was more convenient since it was on the way. When I arrived at the location, a store employee informed me that they didn't have some of the donuts I had ordered. I told her that was fine, but when I opened the box, I was shocked to see that the donuts were just thrown in on top of each other and looked very dry. I was going to give these to people, and I didn't want to present them with donuts that looked like that. After some thought, I decided to ask for a refund so I could go to Crumbl or somewhere else. Even Walmart has moist donuts. The employee, an Indian woman, had a terrible attitude, which is why I'm leaving this review. Her attitude made me more determined to get my money back. She didn't even bother to help me herself; instead, she left a new employee to assist me. I tried calling corporate, but they said it was an individually owned franchise and that the manager, not me, would need to call customer service. The manager then told me to call customer service myself. For anyone trying to order something from this store through their app, I would advise against it. The quality of the product is not worth the hassle of having to go through so much just to get a refund. I wish I had taken a picture of the donuts before I gave them back, as I'm sure they put them right back on...

I've been here a few times. From what I have seen, they are consistent with there coffee. I have made specific orders and gotten exactly what I wanted. I ordered a small iced coffee, dark roast, with three turbo shots, and 2 pumps of mocha. It was great! Good quality and consistent. The only con I have is their charisma for customer service. I am not the one to usually rate places, but I feel the need to here. Today, being National Doughnut Day, I went to stop in. I understand that they would most likely be low on donuts, but I went in anyways. This is the second time that they seemed almost offended I was simply asking for a few donuts. The employee grabbed them without even asking which ones I wanted, and wanted to get me out of there. I almost had to wrestle with him to get the donuts I wanted. I don't know why he did this, but it annoyed me. Please simply explain why your low on things such as donuts, be friendly and assertive, and it will make a world of a difference...

If I can give this place a ZERO I would. Today is 01/28/2024 - it is 5:51PM. I do not know WHO WORKED THE SHIFT TODAY but I would like to express the extreme disappointment experience tonight. It was the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I am sitting in the drive thru - no one greeted me or told me “one minute please.” I am have a conversation with my children regarding their basketball game and we are talking about laughing and a women who responded “you can just go with that screaming.” I politely said “I’m sorry I wasn’t screaming at you, I was joking having a conversation with my children” and she TELLS ME, “you can leave and come back tomorrow.” I asked to speak with a manager and she told me there’s no one on duty, I can come tomorrow. I asked for her name, she refused to give it to me. I did not enter because again mind you, I have three children with me. I told her I’m writing a review, and she told me she did not care.
