Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Hanover Township

Last week, I had an experience at Jersey Mike's that left me completely appalled and disgusted. I visited the Whippany store, expecting the usual high standards they advertise. However, what I witnessed has sworn me off their sandwiches forever.

As my sandwich was being prepared, a significant amount of meat accidentally fell onto the floor. Floors in public places, especially where food is handled, are breeding grounds for countless bacteria and germs. To my utter shock and disbelief, the employee, without a moment's hesitation, picked the meat off the floor, inspected it as if looking for visible dirt, and then placed it right back into my sandwich. This blatant disregard for basic food safety and hygiene was horrifying.

I immediately confronted the staff about this unacceptable behavior, expecting an apology or at least some acknowledgment of the mistake. Instead, I was met with dismissive attitudes and excuses, suggesting this wasn't a big deal. The lack of concern for customer health and safety was astounding.

This incident isn't just about a piece of meat falling on the floor; it's about the complete disregard for the health and wellbeing of customers. It's about a culture that allows for shortcuts and negligence, even at the cost of someone's health.

I can't, in good conscience, recommend Jersey Mike's to anyone after witnessing such a gross mishandling of food. There are plenty of other sandwich shops that prioritize customer safety and maintain strict hygiene standards. Do yourself a favor and choose a place that respects you and...

THESE EMPLOYEES WERE ALL MISERABLE!!!! NOT ONE OF THEM EVEN GREETED ME OR ANYONE ELSE IN LINE !!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE OBVIOUSLY ISNT A TOP PRIORITY FOR THIS LOCATION I ORDERED TWO ITALIAN SUBS (GIANT) WITH EXTRA MEAT THE BOTHERED GENTLEMAN SLICING THE COLD CUTS SAID YEAH SURE I SAID BUT YOU ARENT PUTTING THE EXTRA THAT IM BEING CHARGED FOR. HE REPLIED "YEAH IT IS!" SO $50 LATER FOR 2 SANDWICHES NOT WHAT I WANTED AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO SCREW THE CUSTOMER OVER AT LEAST SAY WELCOME TO JERSEY MIKES WHAT CAN I GET FOR YOU, AND HOW ABOUT A THANK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY . I SUPPOSE TGATS TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR FROM THESE FOUR EMPLOYEES . THE OPTION FOR ZERO STARS ACROSS THE BOARD SHOULD BE AVAILABLE!!!!!

I just stopped in for lunch at this JM's locations.

I love JM's and my family and I eat at quite a few locations. While I have never had a bad experience, this was noticeably by far the kindest.

I was greeted by the staff when I first walked in a joyful way. After I place my order, not only did the person who took my order pay attention to me, the staff from the back came out to say hello and helped alongside the first person with joy....and it wasn't even busy.

It really added a bright spot to my Friday afternoon. I told the staff it was such a nice location and told them I would be leaving a review. ...
