Two stars most of the employee service and the cleanest. The services was quick, and almost all the employees were very friendly Great job on keeping that quality JJ. Now speaking of quality this particular location isn't doing as good as other JJ as far as making a great subs. The first time I went to JJ was in forest park location and each time the subs were perfectly Fresh and balanced with the correct amount of ingredients to make a delicious meal. So I was so excited to see one on Virginia Ave. The first time me and my family order we couldn't figure out why these subs were so different we added more mayo, more oil ect.. to spice it up because something was surely missing but that wasn't the issue In the end. We came back again about month later and again something wasn't quiet right again but I couldn't target the issue. 2 days ago I went to the JJ in forest park and ordered 3 subs mine had extra hot peppers I love spicy my wife wasn't with me so I thought what the heck. My wife called me about 30 min later to say she wanted to eat so I took my sub to her and we shared a sub with extra hot peppers on it and she absolutely hate heat. Guess what? even though the sub was too spicy for her she ate the whole thing so did I. We bragged on and on how great the subs tasted. The bread and moisture of the sub was everything that made me fall in love with JJ's. I was just gonna give up on JJ's before this but my confidence was just like the first day again with my JJ experience. So Yesterday I went back to the Virginia location absolutely excited for a JJ sub again. I ordered the exact sub as the one in forest park. I just came from dialysis so I was starving and my car was really low on gas. The service was quick and I was watering to bite in this sub. I got home and grabbed for what I thought was gonna be the bestest sub. But I never had a chance to take off the seal. Why? When I grabbed these subs the button loaf was so hard. I mean super hard like they have been baked prior. So now we no the issue we been having all this time dry dry bread. If the bread is bad you can do all you want to make a good sub and the recipes will not work. The bread is the highlight of the sub. I don't care what you put in a sub if you have the freshest bread the subs will turn out great. I took the sub back on low gas and starving which is nothing like I would do once I'm home but I knew they could do better so I chanced coming back on low gas. I asked if they bake the bread they said no I ask them to examine my subs and the young lady did and agreed the bread was concrete. She told the employee or manager who was bringing out a rack of bread the problem and my only option was did I want a refund or my subs remade. Now they knew my issues I requested that they give me fresh bread. But she insisted the only bread available was the one they had on the rack. She never checked to see if she could find a better loaf of bread on that rack and she had a look of attitude on her face like I was getting on her nerves. she just gave me those options and stood there. I asked for a refund and went to Jonny subs and got 2 subs and a slice a pizza for 4 dollars less. I'm truly disappointed because this is the only issue preventing me from ever coming back to this location. Fresh bread smh. If they made there subs like forest park I promised I would need a JJ card because my visits would be doubled or tripled dialysis makes you very hungry and all you think about is a good meal afterwards. To management if you don't believe me go to forest park as a test and order they're subs and you'll realize the issues at your location. People don't complain because they are hungry but if you see a problem it should be fixed immediately. It's not about the money it's about fixing...
Read moreOn this past Friday Night i had the worst experience with this Jimmy Johns. At 8:43 i called and ordered a turkey sandwich on wheat no tomatoes for delivery. AT 9:13. My sandwich was delivered but it was on the wrong bread. I called back and the lady on the other end explained that she would send me another sandwich and just send the wrong one back. Okay cool. At 9:40 still no sandwich. the Assistant Manger calls me and says: AM: Hi this is the Asst Manager with Jimmy Johns, i'm calling because your sandwich still hasn't been delivered. Did you pay with a 20 dollar bill? ME: Yes ma'am i did. AM: Well the delivery driver doesn't have it. (my first instinct is she accusing me of stealing a sandwich? It would have been dumb of me to call and say my sandwich was wrong if i didn't even pay for it) ME: okay well I gave him a 20 dollar bill and only asked for five dollars back as change. But I will check but i'm pretty sure I don't have it since I only have five one dollar bills on my table. AM:okay we will get the sandwich to you! At 10:00 STILL NO SANDWICH, i call and tell the manager I don't even want it. she calls the new delivery driver to see where she is. At 10:05 the delivery driver calls me to let me know she is outside. Finally, Great sandwich is here! I'm so hungry at this point I just bite into the sandwich without checking to see if it was right and guess what? the sandwich was still wrong it has TOMATOES on it. Thank God i'm not allergic or anything. It even had on the receipt no tomatoes. That was my last time ordering from any Jimmy Johns...
Read moreIf I could give this place NO star I would for it is not even deserving of one. The customer service at this place is amongst one of the rudest I have EVER encountered. The staff are rude and nasty and should not be working fast food if common courtesy and decency to the people they service is of no importance. It’s simple. Don’t deal with the public. As for my experience, this will be the 3RD time my sandwich was over an hour late, this time 😬the reason being they had the wrong address. Firstly, who doesn’t confirm the address when taking a delivery? Incompetence. Secondly, if you take numbers down, should you not have called the patron and notified them of this? Ignorance. Thirdly, and most important, as a MANAGER, isn’t it your duty to fix the issue that has occurred and not be even more a problem than solution? Unprofessional. At this point my frustration with this establishment (one in which I use to work in 2011) is through the roof and I Do not appreciate this type of service. I wouldn’t recommend this Jimmy John’s to anyone...Sorry, not sorry Nick (the owner) 🤷🏽♀️. Get your stuff and the people you call...
