Let's just say that we definitely have drove by this place a ton of times and NEVER realized that it was such a gem.. today while driving through I decided to just take a chance on a place that had good reviews from my fellow yelpers and I am glad I did. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and our order was taken.. we got a chopped cheesesteak & fries, a cheeseburger & fries and lemon pepper wings with chicken fried rice.. Less than 10 minutes later our orders were ready and the lovely lady who made them came and brought them to the table. She also cut my daughter's cheeseburger in half for her. That was a definite mom move and I really appreciated her for it... We loved our food and will be back for sure, my chicken fried rice was so fresh and although my wings were not humongous they were delicious, my daughter finished all of her food and my husband's bread was so soft on his cheesesteak it felt like a pillow..on our way out the owner told me bye using my name another personable touch that I honestly think made my day..

So it took me two nights to come and catch a meal here because there is no parking. There were like 7 people in there and the parking lot was full. I parked across the street. The atmosphere is like an old diner. There's music playing but it's still an awkward vibe. I ordered three tacos. Al pastor, tripas, and lengua. The al pastor was chewy and the flavor was off. The pineapple mixed in was not it. I would have appreciated more grilled onions. The lengua was not it. Kind of dry this needed to be drown in salsa but I was only given two salsas for three tacos. The best one was the tripas. It was a nice combination of near crunch and softness. The tortillas were not hand made and were oiled up. These tacos were 4 bucks each. Im from east los angeles and I get better tacos for 2.50 with a quality salsa. I guess it's good for atlanta but this place wouldn't last in California. Again, just my opinion take it or not. Would not try again.

What in the hey happened to Skinny’s 😳 On Dec 2nd, 2024, around 1pm, I arrived at Skinny’s. Didn’t know that it had changed, not even when I put it in the gps, because when I searched for Skinny’s, that’s what I saw. Do appreciate them trying to keep some of the same menu items, but the taste was NOT like Skinny’s. The tacos were very good & presented very well. I will return for those & will try other Mexican items. I’m only a little disappointed in the rice. Was expecting the Skinny’s version, reasons why I drove all the way there. I’ll update my review, after trying more items. But please stop charging $15 ($14.99) for that rice & presenting it as if it’s the original Skinny’s rice. Total waste of my time & money. I’m attaching a photo of it. Yes, it’s still in the fridge three days later. 😒 By the way, please be careful when parking. Parking is pretty tight & close to the main road & traffic lights.

I didn’t want to make this review. this is my first ever review in life, but in October for my birthday Me and my boyfriend went to this restaurant thinking it was a food truck but they switched to being a restaurant and my boyfriend wanted to leave but I wanted to give it a chance since at the time it was 5 stars and the reviews were amazing and the pictures of the food looked delicious so we walked in and it was hot inside but I let it slide we ordered fries , tater tots , tacos , churros, Horchata, etc and it come to be $100 we dine in the food came out and it took 10 min r so and I at the fries and tater tots and I didn’t like them they tasted burnt and look grey I should’ve taken a picture but again I never made a review before so I wasn’t prepared anyway I told him I don’t like these fries etc I ate the tacos and it’s okay but we’re not confrontational people so we didn’t say anything and it was getting to hot so we left also the churros was hard too the horchata drink is not homemade it’s the powered that you can buy from a store and make at home I thought it was going to be real and fresh but it tasted like water sugar but we just took everything home and was very disappointment with the experience I should of listened to my boo and left when we didn’t see a food truck I personally wouldn’t eat...

Been seeing this place as Skinny's for some time now and never tryed it as Skinny's but decided on yesterday to try it while about to go get lunch at Your Pie across the street. This is the best decision that myself and my co-worker made especially being that we work in the area at FedEx. The restaurant was crowded with all kinds of people(Delta/Police/Govt workers) and every seem to be enjoying there food. We were greeted with a smile by the lady at the front taking orders as well as her explaining some of the other things on the menu to us. We ordered the cheeseburger specials and as we waited we saw so much more delicious looking food come out. We took our order to go and when I tell you that cheeseburger (loaded) and fries was DELICIOUS! the burger was seasoned and juicy and the fries were still tasty even thou we got our food to go. I can't wait to try some of the other things on their menu and to spread the word to the rest of my co-workers. Oh and the prices were reasonable as well. Sorry I didn't take photos but will...

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend in October for his birthday and it was not what I expected at all. We went before the photos were updated and we thought we would be going to a food truck instead we went to a restaurant. I really wanted to go to a food truck not a restaurant. The tater tots were gray, I couldn’t tell the difference between the chicken and shrimp because they just looked the same, which made me nervous due to my shrimp allergy, the taco shells get hard quickly, and the tacos are $3.99 per taco which I think is absurd for as small as they are. The horchata is not homemade as I hoped. It is made from horchata powder you can purchase from the farmers market. I swear there are more options available for American food than Mexican food. The only thing I liked were the fries and birria burrito. The churros were hard after only a few hours sadly and came with a really small cup of dipping sauce. I hoped my first experience of authentic Mexican food would have been more authentic. The building had a lack of...
