I had been sitting in this locstion waiting on my family to come so we can have lunch. I got here extra early, so i was greeted by a waitress. I told her that i was waiting on someone to come in and have lunch with me. She said ok. Once my family got here, no one came to see if we wanted to order.i had to get up from my seat to go and get the waitress who was waiting on my table. She stated she would be right over. Once she came over she was rushing us as we placed our order, as if she was in a hurry. We specifically told her sweet tea in foam cup. She brought the sweet tea in a plastic cup. When we stated to her it was wrong, the look on her face was like she was frustrated. This is the second time i have come here, and this visit was worst than the first visit. These ladies are older, and i would expect better customer service from them other than what i got. And then my brother had hair in his ceasar salad. We called the waitress and made her aware. The hair in the salad was blonde. Our waitress hair was blonde She took the salad, and askef hik if he wanted another salad. They are making salad with no hair nets on their heads. The waitress never apologized for the hair being in my brothers salad. She went back to the salad area where they make salads, and continued to talk about our table. We could tell we were being talked about due to the other workers looking over at pur table which they had not been doing before. Horrible customer service. The food here is delicious, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. And if the customer service is HORRIBLE the food is not worthy of any stars either. Customer service goes a long ways. And their customer service was DISGUSTING! I ALWAYS FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE WHEN I COME HERE. BECAUSE OF THE WAY IM TREATED BY THE STAFF! I WILL NOT! I REPEAT I WILL NOT COME HERE AGAIN. NOT EVEN IF THEY HIRE NEW STAFF. I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO COME HERE AS WELL. The RUDE manager came over with his smart mouth. Never apoligized for the horrible service from the waitress, all he could say to us was the salad was ready in the cooler. Never acknowledged the waitress and her lacking of a personality or customer service skills. My best friend stated to him, she felt uncomfortable and would not be back. The MANAGER stated to her, that's your choice with a very nasty attitude. And stormed off. This place is the worst in pizza eating i have ever experienced. WHAT HAPPENED TO MA'AM I APOLOGIZE FOR MY STAFF PERSON DISPOSITION. YOU THINK YOU CAN GIVE BAD SERVICE AND WE PAY FOR IT. I THINK NOT. I advise any body if in the area and you want pizza, not to go here. They pick and chose the people they want to give customer good service to. Sitting here right now waiting on a ✔. Had to wave the waitress down to get our check. Throw the whole staff and the manager in the TRASH She was worthy of a $2.00 tip. She was really worthy of nothing. That's what i left her. Should not have left her anything. You spend money and people treat you like you still in the...
Read moreI have ordered pizza from this location many, many times but usually for delivery . Unfortunately I went with pick-up today and experienced really bad customer service. I didn't want to believe it was racial but after asking for an explanation, receiving the negative response from the staff and reading online reviews of so many other black customers' experiences, I accept that it likely is. When I entered the store, the cashier who is young Hispanic girl started to cash me out but was interrupted by the old Asian lady. There was a white man who entered the store after me and the Asian lady literally stopped the Hispanic cashier from checking me out to begin helping the white man. No one said "we will be right with you" or "please wait a moment" or anything. After finishing up his order, the girl came back to me and automatically said "Sorry about that." But the way she said it was so casual and nonchalant, I could tell it was insincere. I began politely expressing my feeling of how the situation was unfair and she rolled her eyes and said "It wasn't my fault, she (the Asian woman) just started checking him out". It was actually her (the Hispanic girl) who was on the register, so that is why I addressed her in the first place, but yes it was the Asian woman who is ultimately at fault. Quickly realizing this wasn't going anywhere, I requested to speak to a manager. He introduced himself as the owner, although a simple google search shows that the name he gave me doesn't match that of the person listed as the owner on the Better Business Bureau website. Anyway, as I was trying to explain why I felt the interaction was racist, the girl began calling me a Karen and kept talking over me. The man couldn't even hear me or process what I was telling him because she was so loud and he was only focused on protecting the employee. The so-called "owner" said he didn't understand my complaint so I offered to explain it again but then he just kept interrupting me to make excuses for the employee saying "She is only a teenager", "she can't be racist because she is Hispanic", etc. But I never got a sincere apology or explanation for why they stopped helping me to go serve a white man who came in behind me, especially since we both had placed pick-up orders. So I asked for a refund, he gave it to me but got mad and told me to leave "his" establishment... Did he think I was going to sit down and hang out? Lol, weird. Anyway I will be following up with The BBB and the U.S. Office for Civil Rights about this matter as my attempt to rectify it internally was flagrantly...
Read moreAs a frequent customer who has ordered from Johnny's New York Pizza multiple times through UberEats, I feel compelled to share my increasingly frustrating experiences. What was once a go-to pizza option has become a source of consistent disappointment and logistical nightmares.
Tonight's order epitomized the ongoing issues I've encountered. I placed my order around 6:15 PM, with an initial delivery estimate of 7 PM. However, the delivery time kept getting pushed back repeatedly - first to 7:20, then to 7:45 PM, then to 7:50 PM. This constant rescheduling was just the beginning of a complicated evening.
The attempted delivery process was -- chaotic. Multiple delivery drivers were assigned and unassigned, with one driver claiming they couldn't wait. When I called the restaurant, I was put on hold indefinitely.
The communication breakdown continued when the third delivery driver informed me that someone else had already picked up my order. When I inquired about the earlier pickup, the driver vaguely mentioned that "the girl said a little bit ago" - a response that raised more questions than it answered. The particularly frustrating part is that the UberEats status never updated beyond "wrapping up," even after the order was supposedly picked up.
Maybe it's because I ordered on UberEats, but the complete breakdown of communication between the restaurant, delivery service, and customer is mind-boggling.
The repeated long wait times, communication failures, and logistical chaos suggest significant operational problems that extend beyond a simple one-time mishap.
To potential customers: save yourself the stress. There are numerous local pizza places that, for around the same price, provide better service, more reliable delivery, and actually seem to value their customers' time and experience. If you do decide to order from Johnny's, I'd strongly recommend either picking up in person or exploring alternative restaurants.
The little things matter in customer service, and Johnny's New York Pizza is falling short in almost every aspect of the...
