Phatz Philly Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Happy Valley

I’m extremely pregnant and had a sudden craving for a Philly cheesesteak. I’ve tried a few other places in the are, and was never impressed- so after scrolling on uber eats I decided to give Phatz a try. My goodness! My husband and I were in love. So much so, that we ordered again for lunch the next day. I’m already dreaming of my next order 😋 Cheesesteaks from other places I’ve tried recently were very dry and bland, but these were full of and so creamy and cheesy. There was plenty of meat on the sandwiches as well. The onion rings are AMAZING! My only complaint was that I ordered a side of coleslaw, and there was only about 2 bites inside of the container. The coleslaw also had a unique taste, like horseradish maybe? I liked it, but it was spicy!

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. After eating my food, I looked them up, expecting to see tons of great reviews. My jaw hit the floor seeing all of the negative ones. I’ll honestly say that if I had read reviews before ordering from here then I probably would have passed and ordered from somewhere else. But I’m so thankful that I decided to give them a try on a whim, this is going to be my go-to place...

Stay away these people do not have their act together at all.

A group of 5 of us went to lunch. We couldn’t order separately because they didn’t have enough pagers and apparently just saying our name is too complicated.

By the time our 5th guy tried to order they told him they were too backed up and couldn’t take any orders.

They then told one of us that his card didn’t charge so they re-ran it. There were two charges on his card immediately and the only person who could deal with it was the cook. So now with no one preparing food he’s still arguing that it didn’t go thru.

The other worker is apparently incapable of doing anything but operating the register halfway.

They’re also out of ingredients to make their simplest items.

Complete failure.

Edit - after eating it’s worse. Dry crunchy onion rings are terrible, stay away from those. Ordered a classic Philly and it’s 90% cheese, barely any steak at all.

Do yourself a favor and drive out to Steakadelphia on...

The Troutdale Station Phatz is a joke! We were their only customers and it took over half an hour to cook two sandwiches. We were getting ready to ask for our money back when they finally wrapped our sandwiches and gave them to us. We were there on 6/25/2022 at 2:30 p m., and the young lady who took our order was rude and then took off for quite a while... which is probably why it took so long, as obviously the cook is not allowed to wrap the sandwiches.
