This was my first visit to Zaxby’s: I was appalled by the lack of courtesy, job knowledge, and common sense most of the employees displayed during my visit.
The one (and only) cashier could not process in-person orders. Rather than asking for help, she took a phone call, walked to the back-of-house area, and left the front counter unattended for several minutes. This left those of us in line waiting for several minutes for her to return as no other employee bothered to fill in.
Door Dash drivers were ignored. They had to figure out on their own where to pick up deliveries. Employees were simply not interested in helping.
When an order was ready for pick up, employees screamed (yes, screamed!) out the names and order numbers throughout the restaurant. Not over a PA system: a person — screaming. Guests were visibly laughing, shaking their heads, and at a loss with the unprofessionalism displayed by these employees.
My order was filled incorrectly. So much so, it did not resemble anything listed on my receipt. I gave up!

Read moreSo, before covid started, This was a great location. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food that I would order would come out right and hot. Enjoyed dining in. But a lot has changed in the time since and in all honesty, if you don't want your order messed up or get charged for something and not get it, go go here. Since the closure of the dining room, we may have gotten Zaxby's 6 times, we prefer it to Chick-fil-A and it's closer to our home. (5-10 mins)We last ordered 2 days ago, I wanted a buff- plate( I got regular tenders) and we both were suppose tolosing even more business due to the other issues I have read on this thread and its a shame. I sincerely hope that y'all recover and make it back to where it was a couple years ago. Oh a if you have no drinks available, how about let the people know before they get to the drive thru window (happened at this location, a few months ago.

Read moreThe first indication that this wasn't going to be good should have been the terrible squeaking door into the restaurant. Sounded like we were in a horror movie! The clerk that took our order ( a female, but our receipt said "Timothy" ) was very hard to understand. We weren't sure I'd she was speaking to us or the staff through her headset. The dining room was so cold I had to go get my jacket out of the car & was still freezing. ( Again had to listen to the squeaking door when I went out & back-in & others came in. ) Signature Sandwiches were pounded, dry & not much flavor. I went to the Ladies Room ( my Husband said he hoped it was cleaner than the Men's ). It wasn't too bad but shocked to see a clerk sitting on the vanity looking at her phone. As soon as I walked in she jumped off & left. ( I said "Hi" to her but got mo response. I guess she felt she had been caught doing something wrong. This was our 2nd time here in the past 5 years of living here & will be our last. Management needs to address a lot...
