Evening y’all if that tells yah when I had my meal. Straight to the points One of the best Hawaiian spots in the area. The Food Delicious, the price 25-26bucks for two adults(worth it in my opinion) (feels like a steal) The portion:(like a grandma who mocks you for not eating enough and adds a lot to your plate) Atmosphere:Hole in the way vibes,might throw you off due to the bingo parlor and slot machines being right there. but hey you’re looking for great food right!? So don’t stop there and go order food from the kind people up front)(else you’ll be missing out) As for details Quick top fyi(forgot to take pictures because me and the lady decided to eat everything so quickly because it was simply just that good) me and my spouse had an Aloha plate The grilled chicken and its sauce just hits all the right places smoky,savory hint of sweet from the sauce juicy as well and the pork just tender and umami. Good good and good.and locomoco bowl. the locomocos gravy was umami and straight diabolical with its own flavor spread out on the burger and rice burger was juicy and had the right amount of salt. I’m from Guam originally and have been living around this area for around 2 years now. I’ve been searching for really good Hawaiian/Pacific Islander food since I’ve arrived. Koko’s Cafe is BY FAR the best I’ve found in the area! I ordered the Aloha Plate. BBQ plate and also the Spicy Poke. The bbq chicken and the kalua pork were extremely good. It definitely reminded me of the islands and tasted authentic! The spicy poke was not only the best I’ve had in the area, but also some of the best I’ve had in my entire life. It was extremely flavorful and the fish was great quality/tender. The bbq was great, but the poke will definitely keep me coming back for more! I could definitely feel the aloha spirit not only in their food, but also their hospitality! I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone. The only thing I will say, is that I wish they were in a better location. They’re currently located inside of a sports bar and it smells of cigarette smoke. This review is strictly due to the extremely poor customer service we experienced with this restaurant. Of course I can’t say how the food is because my son ordered pick up through the website only to have me show up and the place is closed 4 hrs earlier than the time posted. And on top of that they charged him for the order and have yet to refund his money. My wife called and spoke with a guy who said he could see my son’s order in the system but would have to wait for his wife to return because he doesn’t know how to work it. He said he would call once she returned but two phone calls and two visits by my wife, along with a call by me later and we have yet to speak to anyone! This is flat out ridiculous. You acknowledge that you’re aware of a customer paying for food they didn’t receive but make absolutely no attempt to rectify?!? The customer has to practically stake-out the place to catch someone there. Of course we’re not going to stop until he gets his refund. And our son is a paraplegic who’s permanently in a wheelchair so he does 100% of his ordering online. This is bigger than the $20+ order. Get...
