Went tonight for GilBoyz karaoke. They had really sweet kind staff super curteous and if you want to sing where there's not a long wait it's not a super busy night yet so grab your chance. They have a dj and a kj so it feels really cool when they introduce and then congratulate you after your number. It was an amazing vibe and I can't wait for next time! Drink prices were great. I had two jungle juices that were garnished with fresh fruit. I also saw containers of edible flowers and dried blood orange slices so I'm excited to come back again and order something fancier. My tab was ten dollars and I tipped four dollars. But next time I'll definitely tip more. They have a nice sized dance floor and it's decorated in an eclectic mix of home town bar and dark emo goth ish baddy meets and falls in love with the hometown drag racing cowboy. They were setting up beer pong as the the dj went from daft punk to country to reggaeton to house and trance pop mixes.. Everyone was really polite and kept their eye out for me being there a single female. I was dancing and wearing a little top and skirt to take advantage of the cool evening and everyone was friendly AND respectable/gentlemenly. There were richer rocker types, gym bro types, young and mid 40s, gamer types and the sidewalk had access for a wheelchair and the door looks as if it would accommodate a wheelchair. Large parking lot with handicap access with the space next door in case you need the lift region. The restrooms did have the larger handicap stall. I have used both larger and standard wheelchair. I'm not sure the larger would fit smoothly but a standard chair or scooter would. There were also other goth type single ladies young and 40 30ish there as well as soccer mom single friends groups. It was a really nice spot. I didn't see a food menu so there is no review for the food menu. The jungle juice wasn't your standard everclear and koolaid. It was actually amazingly tasty slightly thicker than Koolaid but not as thick as a smoothie. It taste like a fruit punch and was garnished with fresh Valencia orange slices and maraschino cherries. The restrooms were clean and well stocked and plenty of cuteness aesthetics for selfies y'all. Also looked like a good space to accommodate a party or wedding I'm not sure if they do that but the space is intimate but abundant and well organized. The bar stools are sturdy as I used to be much larger I got used to being scared of going out because maybe I couldn't fit. The walkways fit a chair and seem to be kept pretty clear. I'll most definitely be checking it out again. They seemed to have some of everything for karaoke with GilBoyz. I asked for Christian, 90s r&b and 70s classic Rock. They also had a lot of Spanish. In an hour and a half I got three songs in which is great for karaoke and dancing. So there's something for the whole crowd in...
Read moreSeriously the owner I'm disappointed in. Her 1 staff she had working, Owner left her overwhelmed and not offering her assistance other than her brooming up the floor after her bartender fell. She showed no empathy toward her employee and after that just left her there struggling. What kind of boss is that? Do better! Gave the barback a good tip and told her her boss sucked and to keep up the good work. U won the best bar for happy hour..idk how with the boss's work ethic.. sitting her ass down only majority all the time. And then her partner that wasn't on the clock helps out! Wow..just wow....
Read moreThis one is really hard to describe. It really didn't seem to be kinda scene. The wait staff was very courteous and attentive. Stopped in had a beer, wasn't very cold but at least it was not skunky. The wife and Comadre wanted to the jungle juice but they said it didn't have any jungle in it. Buddy of mine had a jack and coke. He said the soda was flat. The music was alright, oldies (2000's) pop music rock. Unfortunately I just wasn't feeling the vibe. Place was neat and clean, very colorful with adult entertainment. We had one drink and called it a night. Over all an ok visit, it was a bit...
