Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Harlingen

I carefully handed the money to the employee for my order: $8.76 He mishandled and dropped the $.76. He then said I needed to move my car to retrieve the money. I did it to help him and I placed the money on the counter. I pulled my car back to the window and he glared at me and said I was still short. By this time, another car had pulled up behind me. I told him I was NOT going to move my car again to scrounge around to find the "missing" change. He basically took a stance that I was not getting any order unless I retrieved the money. I told him to ask another staff to assist him. He was clearly angry that I was not helping him and said I needed to park around the corner and he would bring my order out to me. He eventually came out, went to the drive thru lane and retrieved the money. He came back a few minutes later with my order and said nothing to me. I didn't have anything to say either. I am a very regular customer and someone being this rude is not acceptable. I will start taking my business elsewhere.😒 I will miss my daily...

Egg rolls is all u need to try..... Last time my order was way wrong and tgey made up for it.....today i was floored....my second visit to this particular location .....of course we can start with a less then enthusiastic greeter....who was not alot of help....and kind of made everybody feel bad for asking questions....next the advertised sign says $6 but we were verbally told it would be $8....the tacos were pretty sad ....spicy which i didnt know and dont eat and had no cheese.....there was no rice for our order so of course we offer to wait its been the fifteen minutes still nothin.....now for the inconvenience they offer to make it right with a shake...i ask can we just get egg rolls instead u no something we want....i actually was told no only the drink.....if this place were packed thad be different....but when u have one other table and there ur friends theres no excuse....ands its freaken super hot n muggy in here so yes i for sure chsnged my score and wouldnt recomend...

Won't go there again. Went late night drive thru. Got my food within 10 seconds of pulling up. Thought man they ain't never this fast. Was happy knowing I got my food and I didn't have to wait in line like those people across the street at Whataburger. Got home and opened my bag. Fries were cold and old. Some as hard as rocks. BBQ bacon jack was dry all the way thru. The buttery jack was only thing that was decent. Next time I'll pay alittle more....... Across the street.

9/15/21 As a follow up to my earlier post. I had gotten in touch with the owner and I must say his action was appreciated. I went back for another visit tonight and I must say I'm pleased with the meal. Went through dive thru again which employees were friendly as always. Fries were fresh and hot. Both my burgers were tender and juicy all the way thru. I hope they keep up...
