To begin this review, I want to start by saying that Whataburger the company isn’t the problem but rather its staff. When we first got here everything was going well. Restrooms were clean and the guy at the cash register was respectful. The only thing was that the icecream machine was broken but that’s a separate issue. Anyways, me and my family finished placing the order and we went to go sit down. We placed our order at 3:24 PM. It was about 3:40 and our order still wasn’t here. I told my mom to go and say something and she did. She went to go stand by the counter and this guy with the blue shirt asked the white guy if everything was okay and if he had been helped. My mother was just standing there being ignored. She kept trying to talk to him and he kept avoiding her & going the other way. He kept the white guy if he needed help. It’s not the wait that’s the problem but the ignorance that this man had. My mom had to follow him and tell him that we had been waiting for almost 20 minutes for our order. He finally brought it out and he told her that it was there. We sat down and ate our food. He asked the white guy and lady if everything was okay and they needed anything. He never once went up to our table and asked us if we needed help. He ignored our presence the entire time. This just goes to show that white supremacy is real. I don’t even know the guy with the blue shirt was acting like that he was Hispanic himself. Just because the guy is white, shouldn’t mean you should be intimated. We’re both of the same race and we shouldn’t be treated like this. We all come from the same region. We eat the same foods, share common traits, celebrate the same traditions, and have the same color of skin. So why should we be treated differently from someone who is an other color? Maybe it wasn’t because of the color or because we were a different gender but at the end of the day, it is still morally wrong and unjustifiable. This small interaction made the meal unenjoyable. For me to only be 13 years old and notice how unjustified this behavior towards my race was speaks volumes. Whether the worker was being ignorant on purpose or not, he showed biased behavior and favoritism towards the white couple and to me that is racism. Read moreliterally one mistake after another!! horrible service and manager did not help for nothing either! first off the girl taking the order put buffalo instead of bbq so i told the one bringing out the order that we wanted bbq instead and she was giving us a hard time to switch it, then she tried to charge me for it but it was supposed to come with the order they just got it wrong, i gave it to her to switch since they made the mistake and she acted as if she could not figure out what to do. then we asked for extra ketchup because she gave us two for four combos, and she acted as if we were asking her to give us money from her purse or something! so never mind her we just went inside to get it ourselves. then because of all that distraction we realized they forgot our large onion rings once we were home, so we called and just asked for a refund to not have to wait any longer since our food was cold already and drinks watered down with all the confusion and they would not issue a refund, only go back for the onion rings all the way from Rio hondo, so fine we went all the way back almost a 20 minute drive and they gave us only a medium when we paid almost 5.00 for a large! so we called back and of course the manger that helped us or should i say pretended to help us was supposedly gone for the day and no one could do anything, so we just paid 5.00 for a medium onion ring and double the gas to drive back and forth! horrible service and never going there again and making sure no one i know goes there either to avoid all the mistakes and have to drive home with cold food and watered...

My wife called back to let them know that our order was wrong she spoke to a manager named Zeke and he was very professional and polite and that he would redo the order for us. So I went the next day to get our food and a manager named Jacob Sanchez helped and asked his cook to redo the order, well they started the order off wrong by using old Patties or on the grill under a spatula when I had asked for everything to be fresh and I was wondering why the manager and the cook kept looking at me while they were making the order and once they were finished it stayed by the Fry station for 3 minutes once I receive my order the manager Jacob asked me to check it and I said I didn't want to check it because the cook didn't put fresh patties down for my burgers and continue to ask me if I wanted to check the order I go no I want fresh food like I had asked for it the first time then he replied I will go make the order myself what she did and was made perfectly and if the cooks were trained properly or watched with a close eye they would see that they make orders with old food and it's not that we are trying to get free food we just want what we pay for probably won't be going back there for a while and I did not have a what...
