Jason's Deli — Restaurant in Harlingen

Where should I start. As many years that I have been to Jason’s deli I have never seen one as dirty and disgusting as the one I saw today in Harlingen. We entered and there were 10 plus tables that were dirty. The food counter was not any better. We sat there and tried to eat my meal but as disgusted as I was I did not finish my meal. When I asked the manager if he has seen his dining room and how dirty it was he said he had not seen it or been out there. So I told him you should go see how bad it is. He said ok and proceeded to go to the back, about 2 minutes later an associate comes out and starts cleaning tables. But manager stayed behind counter just speaking to the other associates. Never even bothered to go and check. WTH. Jason’s deli I am very disappointed with this location. They were not short handed and they were not busy as well. Please speak to your manager about this. Not a good look on yall....

I would have loved to give a great rating and score but I was honestly disappointed 😞☹️. I ordered the muffaletta with Turkey 🦃 and it barely had meat on it. Felt like I ate an olive sandwich instead. The pictures on the window are what enticed me to come in and give the restaurant a try. I wanted that meaty sandwich on display but instead I got bread and a bunch of olives. I also got the broccoli 🥦 soup and it was overly salted combined with the chips. The best part of my meal wasn't the meal but the pomegranate fountain juice. When I placed the order, The hostess or clerk seemed unmotivated to even take my order. I paid 14.49 for olive bread. Totally disappointed. You got to do better. I normally go out to eat with my family. Glad that I didn't bring them here, It would have been a waste of my money. The environment is great. Look it's funny when we go to this place. Women love it! Lol. Well my wife does for sure. I would say I never really get the urge to eat here. Which is because I'm a burger and fries or Mexican food type of guy. That being said I am always satisfied with my meal. I usually get the California Club with chips. It's enough of a meal for a big guy like me. My wife gets her custom salad from the salad bar. The selection is great at the salad bar. She always gives me some of it. I like salads and this is one of the best. So women drag your man there against his will and feed him almost anything from there and I'm sure he'll be satisfied.
