Calico Joe's — Restaurant in Harrah

The new changes they made here are awful. The service is poor. They only have one really great waitress if she hasn't quit from being over worked. They raised prices, decreased items on their menu, and the quality of food has declined. They don't have specials and the new cook they have does not know how to cook. Watch out to make sure they run your credit card on the right tab because that has happened several times to me and the waitstaff does not know how to correct it. They are crazy if they think I will return now that they have upped the prices. I could barely stand it before they raised the prices. The female assistant manager they have is mean to the kids that work there but yet they keep her and she is a bully She was managing a queso in Choctaw until they shipped her to Harrah. I wish they had comment cards so I wouldn't have to post it on line but everyone deserves to know. The waitress Chrissy is the only good waitress there. Oh and who decides to close the sports bar at 2:30 pm during football season Seriously need help. Also you can get the...

Very pleasant server.

Appetizers were acceptable... Chips and salsa..tasty. "Egg rolls"..ok. Wings..tasty.

The chicken nachos were not good and quite soggy.

The chicken sandwich was served with what seemed to be molded black spotted avocado..what there was of it.. The chicken was severely overcooked in what could only be very old oil. Chili cheese fries served without Chili. And cold congealed cheese. The mixed fajitas were cold and congealed.

When we asked to see the manager we were yelled at (yes, YELLED AT) by someone we can only assume to be the manager as they never identified themselves. This person seemed more interested in yelling about our "attitude" then hearing about the unacceptable meal.

To their credit they did ask if we wanted something else..of course we declined.... After so much bad we were not going to tempt fate.

All in all a disgusting, unpleasant experience.

I wanted to provide an update to the review that I left a few months ago. Kudos to them for taking action and correcting the service deficiencies. We've been back (several times) and there is a noticable improvement. I must be honest....the service is outstanding! Thank you for the great service and great food!!!!

Earlier post.... We like eating here because it is close. However, they need help! We waited for 25 minutes on a Thursday Night to have our order taken. There were at least 2 couples that came in and left before their order was even taken. When we got our food it was not correct and we ended up sending it back. (Never a good idea) Still wrong upon return. They are not always like this but very inconsistent over the last few years. Doing this survey as we wait...
