I just visited this McDonald's location to pick up my mobile order. I walked inside and was greeted by a beautiful smile from a wonderful gal McKenzie, who was very friendly and welcoming. I let her know I was picking up my mobile order and upon searching for it using my code we found that the mobile app didn't send them the order. The order was paid for and went to the correct store, but you know how technology can be. She double checked her terminal and also checked the order board to see if it had come in but maybe hadn't been made yet. Alas! it was nowhere to be found. Without hesitating she pulled the Manager Jackson over to assist. He then ran his checks and determined as well that it was not present. He double checked with me that it had been paid for and was at the correct location. Then took action and made a judgment call without delay and offered to make the order. The order was made quickly and I was on my way. Both of these employees did a great job. Mckenzie was very nice! a total sweetheart. Her customer service was perfect from beginning to end. I've worked in the service industry in entry level and management positions in several different business types, and so I really appreciate when service is 5 star. Mckenzie greeted me as soon as I walked in. This is really important in the service industry. You greet customers when they enter and you always check on customers that are standing/waiting if you have not spoken with them personally, regardless of if it is your position or not. The latter part didn't apply to my situation but my point is that she nailed a really important service industry must. She also was fast and maintained her friendliness and professionalism when faced with a situation that could mean your going to deal with someone who is angry about what's going on. Some people in the industry can get nervous the moment they know that the customer "might" get angry and then this can lead to a domino effect that almost guarantees a bad experience for all parties involved. Not with Mckenzie or Jackson. Now mind you I'm not an A-hole and so I rarely get mad at employees at businesses. But these two were steadfast in thier friendliness and professionalism as they quickly handled this situation. It was such a fast and smooth handling of a situation and with no hesitating and no hiccups whatsoever. There are so many opportunities in the service industry to make a situation much slower and more abrasive than it needs to be. However these two really didn't make a single misstep. I am impressed and ended up only having to wait about 90 seconds from the moment I let Mckenzie know I was picking up a mobile order, to having the order placed in the queue after thier wonderful teamwork had smashed this customer service situation out of the park. Then maybe an additional 35 seconds until the order was complete. ART i tell you! ART! lol
It's easy to not pay attention to or overlook all of the nuances of the art of the service industry. But the service industry is definitely lacking in these modern times and so I want to always thank the people who are providing five-star service and make sure that other people know that they're providing that five-star service.
Mckenzie! thank you for your beautiful smile and welcoming energy and wonderful customer service. It really makes the difference even if not everyone recognizes it. Keep up the good work and never lose that personality of yours, and always smile because your smile makes the world a better place.
Jackson! absolutely flawless Manager moves. You didn't fight the situation with your employee/team member, you didn't fight the situation with me. You did everything you HAVE TO DO when your a manager and you didn't hesitate at all. That makes your team members trust you when they know you don't fight them when they seek your assistance and it almost always ensures that the situation remains calm or calms down if the customer is miffed. Great job dude!
You two literally were perfect and it was like a Nascar pit stop....
Read moreI never leave reviews but I am making an exception for this place. When I pulled into the drive thru there were cars already at the windows and one ordering. Waited almost 5 minutes to order and then waited another 10 just to pay. When I pulled up to pay there was no one there and of course by this point theres a line behind me. Cashier walks up and starts taking orders. How about you take the money from the person whos already been waiting first??? She was not friendly, didnt tell me my total, took my money and shut the window and then handed me my change. No hi, have a good day, nothing. Do i get it free if i have to practically demand someone to take my money????
Pull up to get my food and no one there either. I order 2 cheeseburgers, fries, med drink, and a 6 piece nugget. No happy meal. Just nuggets. Girls runs over finally and hands me my stuff and said sorry about the wait and shuts the window!
20 mins total! This place is ridiculous!! And to top it off i drive the 6 miles home to find out my food is cold. Im sorry but it cant be that complicated to serve people hot food. And they can at least be somewhat friendly....
Read moreAs a manager for McDonalds I'll actually bet money that this is the WORSE MCDONALDS in the state. Transfered from this McDonalds because they have NO MORALS. Employees take smoke breaks and don't wash hands when they return to handle your food. This location uses the 5 second rule. If your food falls on the floor the employee has 5 seconds or less to pick it up and put it back with your order. Franchise owners dont like throwing away food/money. It is policy to replace orders that customers are not satisfied with but I assure you that your replacement meal will be worse. Your meat will come from the A.M. steam drawer which is a temperature controlled steam drawer all the meat patties are kept in to keep warm. We use those instead of heat lamps. The A.M. drawer has meat patties made as early as 4 am and served up for lunch 6 to 8 hours later. Wish I could share all the other dirty tactics this McDonald's uses but I just don't have the time. My advice would be to skip this Mcdonalds because for some reason rural areas with mcdonalds dont seem to follow the same health codes. It's nasty...
