Wish I could get this location a zero for the service I received today. This location is close to my home but not my preferred location. I was so excited to go to Starbucks today so I could get my limited edition free straw. I decided to go to the drive-thru and I ordered three caramel ribbon crunch frappes. I get to the window and pay and the barista hands me one straw I then asked for my two other straws and was told no it’s one per order. I immediately pulled the offer up on phone and read aloud that it say “ get a free limited edition reusable straw with any cold handcrafted beverage while supplies last. Limit one straw per drink purchase.” Again I ordered three caramel ribbon crunch frappes. So the manager comes over and says she understands what I’m saying and I interrupted her and said if you understood then you wouldn’t be talking to me. She proceeds to say that her supervisor said it’s one per order per person and I told her that her supervisor is wrong and they both need to be educated on the offers. She said she read the offer and I told her if she read it she knows what I’m saying is valid. The offer clearly states one straw per drink purchase and not per order or person. I told her they are scamming customers out of their free offers. I spend a lot of money with Starbucks so whenever they’re offering something free you damn right I’m going to get it. She then puts her hand up to dismiss me and says we’ll honor it this one time and I told her NO you’ll honor it every time that it says “per drink purchase” and I order more than one. Read moreI am a regular at this location. I came in one midday afternoon rather than morning like I usually do and went through the drive thru. My drink came out all wrong but I said hey maybe they were busy or someone was training and I decided to let it go. I continued coming back on a regular basis over the past 3 months because this is my home Starbucks and each time I’m highly disappointed. My drink everytime has been wrong! I’m paying extra to add sweet cold foam or caramel drizzle to my drink and each time I’ve had to point out that is missing. My go to drink is the Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso and it seems as though the ingredients are just thrown in the cup and not shaken. At one point I stopped using the drive thru and going inside instead to observe the employees. They are always more focused on loud conversation and gossip with each other that the customers can hear rather then focusing on their job they get paid for to make the drinks and provide good service. Over the course of the past 3 months that I have given chance after chance my order continues to be incorrect, employees aren’t doing their job, more focused on socializing and I’m done. The early morning staff is amazing and I never have this issue and my order is often correct. Read moreThis is the most incompetent Starbucks in the region. We normally go to one closer to home, but we had to be in the Harrisburg area today. I still suggested to my wife going to the usual one because they’re great, but she suggested going here. My reasoning in the first place was because I remember how bad this one was in the past. We come here in the fall because we go to a bar to watch football games.
Sure enough, they screwed my wife’s drink up. She was just going to keep it because she knows how slow this place is, but after she tasted it, she couldn’t drink it and had to get a new one.
When I saw my drink, I immediately knew it was wrong too. Meanwhile, the food she ordered it turned out they were out of it, but they didn’t tell her until about 15 minutes later. And my order which was just a coffee cake not heated still wasn’t out there even after my drink was remade. I had to ask the barista for it.
This Starbucks should be closed for at least a month to train people how to do their job. If it’s still as bad after, they should shut this location down.
