Ichi Japanese Express — Restaurant in Harrisburg

My wife and I ordered 2 plates and 1 bowl of soup from this place on a Friday night. I arrived 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. The cashier told me it would be a little bit before my order was ready. So I waited in the car for 15 minutes. I go back inside, The cashier told me it wasn't ready yet. So I wait inside for another 15 minutes. My food is finally ready and they hand me the bag. Luckily, I check inside the bag and realized the soup was not there. I patiently waited for someone to be available to ask for my soup. When someone helps me, they said "oh yeh we ran out and I need to refund you but give me a few minutes". I say ok and wait again. 5 minutes later and I have not been acknowledged or refunded. So I take my food and leave. I get home to a starving wife and she opens her plate to basically raw chicken. She is now hangry, and calls the restaurant asking for a refund on the soup we didn't get and informed them of the terrible plate of teriyaki chicken they cooked. They informed her they would refund her plate and the soup to our credit card. Here we are 10 days later, and no refund. My wife did enjoy a bottle of wine for dinner that night- so that...

We decided to take a chance on this location because it had a 4-star rating at the time of this review. My overall opinion is the food isn't bad but falls short of expectations for traditional sit-down hibachi locations.

I ordered two of the chicken and steak combos with fried rice which came with broccoli and carrots. Both the chicken and steak could have used more sauce (maybe teriyaki or in-house sauce) in the cooking process because they were on the dry side. The fried rice and broccoli were done very well but the carrots seemed out of place.

We also ordered egg rolls and the Mexican Roll and the Tiger Roll. I have no complaints for the sushi; all were made well and the same can be said for the pork egg rolls which were fried to perfection.

The food here is amazing. My boyfriend and I get hibachi all the time and it's always delicious. The girl behind the register when we went most recently is a patient saint. We witnessed one customer insisting Teriyaki was Takoyaki on the menu, even pointing to the written word and shoving the menu in her face before he finally comprehended what it actually said. Another customer called and kept trying to order sushi rolls they didn't carry and interrupted the cashier to tell her she forgot something before she even got half way through recapping the order. A third customer called during this on a second phone, which she handled with the other and the register all at once. She handled it all with far more patience and grace than I could imagine having if I was in her shoes. (And it was only a few minutes out of her...
