Preface: I am a much more experienced Google reviewer than my current stats let on. You see, my name is Rebecca Finds and have been a Paranormal Investigator for over 29 years. I was brought here by a strange scroll I found mixed into my mail. It was of ancient origin and post dated delivery instructions were written on it in the same inking yet bolder and perhaps a few shades darker. Nevertheless, the content spoke for itself, the deep ones had constructed a dimensional rift. Also, some strange occurrences were all my trained mind needed to come to such an ominous conclusion. Upon arrival in Harrisburg, I immediately noticed that I was not the only investigator, they were obviously no slouch either because they instantly recognized and approached me. I humbly thanked them for introducing themselves, we had met back in Concord when cultist activity had suddenly spiked 10 or so years back. The other party recommended a hotel and I thanked them for the charity, as our scene tends to sabotage competition. Anyway, that brings me to Thursday night at Lovedrafts....
The hustle and flow of Harrisburg tends to draw away from the encroaching dark of nightfall during the week. This town does not roll up their sidewalks, but the oases granted come with an all access pass to the reality of 9-5 anti-activism. Lovedrafts is such a place that a collective begun here, would likely grow into the wall like the crew of Davey Jones ghost ship. The fine beer and flowing spirits serve as consolation for the broken wave. The instant familiarity of oncoming madness struck me as I approached the door, easily dismissed by passers by as an affect of eery green lighting and the shock of anarchism or better nearby reflected in crust jacket patches. I continued into the obvious flagship of the cultist diversion scene. I would say more, but my comrades have warned me that my trail is closely marked and with so much to come, I'd be a fool to conclude with the wash of a single fateful night. Do not be fooled, the deep ones have sewn us into ominous conditions once again... To be...
Read moreThis is going to sound like a fake review but trust and believe it is not. We are not even from the area and stopped in from West Virginia to try some micros. I didnt even have any intent on eating or socializing. On a scale of 1 to 10 Location (10) Front desk and greeting (10) Wait staff (10) We are 45-50 year old people, usually this bar would not welcome accordingly. Connor surprised us and was one of the best servers I think we have ever had. Loaded with info and very proud of his employment. Perfect Drinks (10) Had the Strawberry Blond and wife had the Sour monkey. Very good and recommended by our trusty server Connor Cleanliness (10) I try to be honest so as far as bars go this place was clean. Food (10) After the constant abuse by Connor to try the fries (JK) we did and man oh man. Very good and watched other food come out and it was perfectly served and prices are consistent with the quality. Quality and Value (10) Very rare to see 10s all the way down but i have to say this is a great place to go. Was able to talk with Connor and immediately noticed a great sense of pride in his place. Support local business and go here. Will...
Read moreWent there to watch Metal bands and I quickly fell in love with the place. At first I was rather uncomfortable because large amounts of people give me anxiety. After about an hour I felt like I could stay there forever. 1 Bar with bar tables down on ground floor and 1 bar with booth tables on the 2nd floor. The second floor has a balcony area which is really nice because it allows you to get away from the general population for a moment. There is a small arcade area on the 2nd floor as well, some of the games are free to play, the dart board isn't a real dart board, but it still works if you're just playing for fun. I did not have any of the food, but other people seem to love the food there. The beer was excellent with various in house choices along with a few common brand names if that's your thing. Overall, I couldn't of rocked out any better. Truly love this bar now. You can be yourself there and not feel...
