I love this place! Palumbo’s has been through a hand full of different owners since I’ve lived down town, a few blocks away, and I’m delighted that they are still open. Their bread is freakin delicious. I believe they make it fresh in house. Their sandwiches are fantastic! I love getting my toasted sandwiches grinder style to add some more crunch and flavor. Their pizza is just as excellent and I am definitely not disappointed by their salad! Never had bad ingredient, it’s always fresh and crisp.
And the owners are just incredibly nice. Willing to work with you with what you want to order. The location itself gives me a touch of a New York pizzeria vibe. A specific one that I’ve only been to once in NY. And I love that about Palumbos!
Great place to stop in for a slice or order out for the family

Read morePortions are HUGE! Good was excellent, extensive menu. Only reason I'm giving it less stars is because I asked what "Rose" sauce was since it's different everywhere (most times being a Vodka type sauce). The boy at the register must've been new, b/c not only did he not know, he also told me that his manager would have to make it anyway. The manager came out all pissed off acting like I should know what it was. I told him that what I wanted was something like Alfredo/tomato sauce mixed. He argued with me about it, even though we were talking about the same thing. My friend & I were the only ones in there @ the time, it was May be 9/10 pm. They're open til 3 & supposedly get a lot of the bar crowd, yet a couple people came in seeming to just be having a good time & they kicked them out. Shouldn't they be used to...
Read moreI don't mean to sound rude, but their menu looks like a cheap version of the Dairy Queen grill and chill. I'd say the most Italian thing about this place is the attitude of the Karen that works there. Me and my boyfriend mistook one of their outside tables (to which there were no customers trying to sit at) as a table for the Chinese place next door. The lady that works at Palumbos, went out of her way to be petty and informed us that "we pay to have our tables here so you can't sit there." It's funny, because I would have totally eaten here. I was actually going to recommend to my boyfriend that we try it next time.
It doesnt take much to be kind. It doesn't take much to be decent. You went out of your way to be rude and petty. My advice, is to eat at the Chinese place next door if you want better food and...
