Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Harrison Township

Skyline in Harrison honestly has to e the worst Skyline we have been to. We eat there weekly even though we know they will either mess up our food up,forget something,give a half order of fries.Not give us the right amount of cheese for our meals.The list goes on. The last time we ate inside it was such a weird dynamic.Just a bunch of young ones hanging out talking.Some working some not.They paid no mind to their tables. We usually do take out and that's when they really mess up with our food. I just want to order take out and it be right for once.I immediately get upset every time I open the bag to get out my meal.The what seems to be a half order of fries is what bothers me most and the fact that my 4 way with bean is ALWAYS so dry and stopped together. I think we will have to drive the extra miles to go to the cleves location because I just do not enjoy this location. I don't like that they put fries in a container either.Every Skyline I have been to put them in a bag.When they are in a container they get wet.Noone likes wet fries. I had high hopes for this Skyline when we moved back to Harrison a few months ago because it was always soooo good before(4 years ago). I am editing to add yet another negative experience(s) every time we est at this Skyline we do take out for the most part so per usual we got Harrison Skyline a few days ago. The amount of fries they give you is laughable,the small 3way is the smallest 3 way I ever had out of all the skylines. They also put my 3way in a frily cup with a lid.I was not haply about that. They still have not made any changes to the fry portion and the fries being in a container. Why do you put them in a container when EVERY Skyline puts them in a bag and they give you a good amount,but not this Skyline. We usually have to end up traveling to the dent location to get good food. I do not know what is going on at Harrison Skyline but management really needs to step back and reevaluate who work there. I don't know. The bean mix is also the weirdest bean mix I ever had too. I am just so disappointed in Harrison Skyline. It used to be the best Skyline about 6 years ago. I have to start off with, I've been a patron of "Skyline" for many years....since I was a kid in fact and my visit tonight was far from acceptable! I ordered a skyline bean mix burrito as I have in the past from many different Skylines' and the one that was presented to me tonight at the Harrison, Ohio location looked absolutely ridiculous! The burrito was about 1 inch in diameter (mostly due to the wrap itself)by about 5 inches with about a spoon full of chili on top with maybe 1/4 of a cup of cheese. I mentioned the size and the quality of the burrito to the waitress in part because the burrito costs $6.89 and that's more than what a 3-way costs. She acted as if that was the norm, so I went on to eat it! My 1st cut into the burrito unleashed this soup like mixture, what was supposed to be the bean mix but looked more like diarrhea. I thought "What is this!" Another waitress overheard me speaking to my son about the quality and that I was going to ask them to remove it from my bill because I wasn't going to eat it. She asked if something was wrong so I explained to her what I have explained earlier in this review so she went and got the manager I assume. The manager came and apologized and stated they had someone new working and offered to make it right free of charge, so i agreed. (Which is why they are getting 2 stars instead of 1) The second burrito was more normal in size with more chili and cheese on top. With that said the inside was still very soup like, to the point I had to ask for a spoon to eat it! Never has that happened before! I believe wholeheartedly this Skyline likes to cut corners and thinned that bean mix with water to make it last longer! Now, I will say I did eat it and tasted ok but the quality sure wasn't there! I also wasn't looking for a free meal either but did appreciate the managers attempt to make it right. With that said I won't go back to this Skyline anytime...

I’ve been coming to this skyline for a while and tonight was hands down the absolute worst service I’ve seen ever. In all my years of cooking at diners and fast food work, everyone including the server moved so slow. Never brought up our drinks, we had to remind the server while he just stood around. And we asked for juicy 3ways. They brought us out so dry and pasty like chili. When we asked for a 3way juicy, he took it back, them came back and proceeded to say they would have to charge us for it? We didnt want extra chili, just juicy. We said this multiple times and like I said working in restaurant settings I really try to be as empathetic. With that being said, our server came over and wouldn’t stop talking about how horrible their managing is and how hes in trouble because of our request for our food to be made properly? And to top it off, even the people cooking the food were arguing and screaming back and fourth, a manager screaming for people to go home since they had bad attitudes. This was the worst restaurant experience Ive ever had hands down and Ive worked so many different places, including Skyline itself. Same with Goldstar. Ive been serving for Goldstar for over a year and half and would’ve never this unprofessional , slow, and unconcerned for customers.
