The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on lot of businesses since a consumer mindset to buy anything outside of essential has crippled down significantly. Now by living with it has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards.
We tried the Carvel at Bergen street a week back for the first time and have already got our second pick of ice creams for a second week in a row.
The people who serve the ice creams wear masks at all times and they have hand sanitizers at the entrance for the incoming customers too. The store is well maintained and looks fairly cleaner.
Now when it comes to the ice creams, we have tried the strawberry, rum and raisins, bourbon toffee and butter pecan and they tasted great. They were rich in taste and creamy enough. We got small cups both the times with two scoops and the toppings went well with them.
