Cortaditos — Restaurant in Harrison

Cortaditos is such a cute spot!

Service: The service here was absolutely wonderful. The staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating. I originally ordered the Cortadito Bonbon and asked for very little condensed milk because I was told it would be extremely sweet. Even though they warned me, I still decided to give it a try, but they were absolutely right — it was too sweet for me. When I went back up, I was planning to ask for an extra shot of espresso and was happy to pay for it, but they graciously replaced my drink with a Cafecito made with half the sugar. I really appreciated that they didn’t charge me again, even though it was my choice to order the sweeter drink in the first place.

Food & Drinks:

Guava and Cheese Empanada: This wasn’t my favorite. The filling ratio felt off — there was a lot of open air inside the empanada, and the guava and cheese settled at the bottom. The guava was overly sweet, and there wasn’t enough cheese to balance it out.

Pork, Cheese, and Onion Empanada: Absolutely delicious! My favorite!! The filling was flavorful, and I’d happily order this again.

Cafecito: Perfectly rich and flavorful with just the right amount of sweetness (I asked for half the sugar).

Atmosphere: The interior is adorable, but the chairs aren’t very comfortable, so it’s not the kind of place where I’d stay for a long time.

Overall: Cortaditos is a lovely spot with great service, good coffee, and some standout food options. While not everything worked for me, the experience was positive overall, and I’ll definitely be back to try more. Highly recommend...

It’s so exciting to see a new business pop up and as a newer resident of Harrison, I was excited to try this place out! I had the Pan con Bistec with a Guava Empanada and a Guava Mojito Limonada. The sandwich was HUGE, full of meat and flavor, the bread tasted freshly baked and super fluffy. The empanada had plenty of delicious filling and the crust was so flaky. Finally, the Guava Mojito Limonada was craaazy good. It had so much flavor and nothing was overpowering - I could taste the mojito, limon and guava all equally. I can see it becoming a go to drink when I feel like treating myself! The atmosphere of the restaurant is awesome, it is very bright, good music, and the customer service was SUPERB. The guy who helped me with my order was so nice and checked in on me when I was enjoying my food. 10/10 check this place out if...

This coffee shop is my favorite place to study. The chairs are comfortable and there are plenty of tables to spread out with my laptop. The Wi-Fi is reliable, and I love that there are outlets available at almost every seat. I usually order an iced cold brew, and it’s always smooth and strong enough to keep me focused. The baristas are kind and don’t mind if you sit for a few hours, which is a huge plus. The background music sets the perfect vibe — not distracting but still lively. They also have a nice selection of small bites, which makes it easy to stay all afternoon. Everything about this place makes it feel like a second home.
