I recently had a frustrating experience with an AT&T Wireless store. From the start, my visits were time-consuming, with each trip taking up to four hours over the course of two to three days just to get a phone and set up my line. Despite being patient, the process was exhausting. I was initially quoted a monthly fee of around $145 for my plan, with the understanding that the first two bills might be $20-$30 higher. However, my first bill was nearly double the quoted price, and the second month was still higher than expected. By the third month, the cost inexplicably increased again. Additionally, the store employee promised me a credit for all the hours I spent in the store due to the prolonged service time. Unfortunately, this credit was never reflected in any of my bills. It felt like a false promise, and it’s disappointing to be assured of something that wasn’t delivered. Upon calling AT&T, the service representative provided limited solutions, suggesting either adding another line or downgrading my plan, which seemed unreasonable. I reluctantly agreed because I couldn't justify paying such high bills when the original quote was much lower. Furthermore, I traded in two phones, but the trade-in credits have yet to reflect in my account. I wish I could return the devices and take my business back to T-Mobile or Verizon. Overall, my experience has been disappointing, and I feel misled by the initial quote. AT&T, please address these issues and improve your customer service and billing transparency. Don’t promise customers anything you can’t keep.

One of the reps at the Harrison AT&T store was dishonest or misinformed about a free tablet offer by AT&T. I was offered a free tablet by a store rep a few months ago, I replied no thanks since I already have one and do not use it, but he insisted that I could cancel the tablet service at any time in case I didn't use it after 6 months, 10 dollars a month for the line needed to have the tablet. I agreed to it but it turned out that the tablet went on a 2 year contract and I could not cancel without a 120 dollar cancellation fee. Found out today, about 6 months after. However, the store rep was able to inform me that AT&T no longer has 2 year contracts when I tried to upgrade my phone and had to go on a payment plan for it. I have not used the tablet and now have spent 180 dollar on something I didn't want to begin with. The rep may have been honest and not trained well by AT&T. Be warned and be careful what you agree to, reps at this Harrison AT&T store don't know or are dishonest about certain AT&T offers. After calling AT&T, the phone rep was helpful but could only work with the mess that I had asked him to help me with. One bad rep can spoil a good customer experience. I have mostly had a good experience with AT&T except for this one bad experience. They sometimes do 2 year contracts, know what you are getting into,...

I use to work at a wireless company and the way me & my boyfriend was treated I will never treat one of my customers this way. We were greeted by a gentleman that was there alone helping another customer. He asked us what we needed help with and I told him I wanted to add a line to my plan. He told me my down payment will be full price for a device if I added a line. We then ran my boyfriends credit to see if he qualified for a Phone. Not only was we porting a number in we wanted to get a new device that day. He he told me again we’ll have to put full price down for a phone. He also asked me to write my social down and working in wireless I know that’s not how we ask a customer for their social . I then leave & call customer service in my car when they told me I had a small down payment for my line and my boyfriend only had to put down sales tax for his phone when he ran his Credit. This was totally different from what the sales representative in the store told us . I don’t know why the gentleman didn’t want to sell to us we came in professionally we were polite and he just seemed he didn’t wanna help us. Giving us knowingly wrong information. Please get better staff that’s willing to help every customer no matter the race or gender . & if I can give this store a 0...
