Happened upon this spot when in the area. Nice little town/living area being built up you can tell in a few years this whole area will be gentrified. Love the esthetic of this place. Indoors and out the attention to detail is very inviting and was a perfect scene for a quiet Sunday brunch. Place wasn't that busy so it was quiet and nice 2 young male servers helped our table. Neither of which had any sort of personality or energy at all. They barely asked how we were doing and took our orders with no enthusiasm whatsoever. Even when they informed us the Rainbow salad was not available that day we had to ask them to repeat themselves a few times because they were practically whispering and mumbling. Avo toast was beautiful presentation and good flavor but very very cheap on avocado and had no protein or even the option to add (eggs, salmon.. nothing) The burger was OK nothing special to be honest. But it was seasoned and cooked well. The bun was over toasted and crumbly. The fries were very under seasoned and also nothing special. The crab cake had some flavor in it but no actual chunks of crab. It was all shredded so fine that it was just bread crumb and mayonnaise. The lemon aioli on the plate was nice it cut the bitterness from the frisee salad on top. Putting the crab cake on the avo toast helped both dishes actually Might come back for dinner if ever in the area to give a second try. TBD.

Charley is just amazing in every single way! I went for brunch by myself to “soak in” the whole experience and it was beyond what I was expecting. I had the white peach and raspberry purée Bellini and they are both soo worth it! They taste amazing, refreshing and perfect to pair with your brunch! The Alpine Omelet is now my favorite ever! Everything they mention is inside of the omelet, the portion is ideal and it’s all so fresh! The salad that it comes with is crunchy, fresh, with the perfect amount of dressing that it’s not dripping at all and God I want it again! I had as well the dessert which was a lovely raspberry taste with their homemade whipped cream, you MUST try it if you love fruit! The place is very cozy, beautiful decorations, the staff is so friendly, helpful and the service is very quick! It’s only a few minutes walking from the path station, there’s plenty of street parking in the surroundings and it’s a great neighborhood! I will CERTAINLY be coming back, recommend it to everyone and will bring back my boyfriend for an adorable date (it’s also perfect for a ladies brunch gathering!). Keep up the amazing work Charley!

TLDR: I highly recommend going here. Take your friends, go by yourself, or go here on a date. Either way just go here. You will love it! 4/23/2022 Atmosphere: 5/5 stars - very Vienna, euro centric, pop with a mix of diner feel. They also have a fireplace. Very cozy feel. I would live here if I could. Management/staff: 5/5 stars - the manager remembers me by name and has a great relationship with the staff and connects with everyone here. He also remembered my favorite drink and when I made a mistake and wanted a different drink he was so accommodating. The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable. Food: 10/5 stars - absolutely delicious and a lot of variety. Also food I would think would be heavy like a friend chicken sandwich was surprisingly light and refreshing. Also the pairing of different sides with the main dish is what really completes the meal. Also one of the few places that makes excellent salmon without marinating it. Next year I'll update my review to keep up with what's going here but this is going to be my new spot.

Amazing drinks great atmosphere servers not friendly don’t pay attention to detail except Sam, Sam is always very attentive and friendly. I wrote this review the night i was there which happened yo be the same evening gone if your managers practically kicked us out. We were spoken to very badly i will never come back what a shame for this place such bad managers and servers

IN RESPONSE TO YOU:

There was no disruptive behavior on our part, and we did nothing to warrant the treatment we received. Your team failed to inform us in advance that outdoor service wouldn't be available at this event, and the lack of courtesy in addressing this issue was disappointing.

I've been a loyal customer since you opened and have never encountered any issues until now. Unfortunately, this time, the experience was overshadowed by the unprofessionalism of your staff, who, with the exception of Sam, were neither friendly nor attentive. When we asked to speak to a manager, I expected a courteous and apologetic response, especially considering the fact that we were being overlooked while other tables were being served. Instead, the manager approached us with an attitude and seemed to expect my friend to tolerate it.

As a former waitress and a business owner myself, I find this level of customer service unacceptable. In the service industry, the goal should always be to resolve issues respectfully and ensure the customer leaves satisfied. It’s disheartening to be met with such disregard, especially when the staff's behavior only worsens the situation.

Instead of taking responsibility, it appears you're more focused on defending the reputation of your establishment rather than acknowledging the real issue. I sincerely hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving the training and attitude of your staff.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend your restaurant to others. The lack of care for customer satisfaction is evident, and I’m truly...

Just left Charley’s bistro and my partner and I are rather disappointed with this visit. The food, as always, is fantastic, but the service definitely needs work. This is the second time we’ve gone and got such mediocre service. And for a place with such great ambiance and food you would expect the service to match. We waited a while to get greeted so when someone finally came we ended up just putting in our entire order because we were worried it would be a while before they came back again. I’ve been in the service industry for a very long time. I’m pretty understanding when it comes to being busy or going through a rush, but there were two other two tops and a one top sitting in the patio and maybe two people inside. And I noticed that none of us were being attended to. I couldn’t ask for a refill and wanted lemons for my entree but no one ever came back to even make sure everything was ok. We ended up flagging down a server just to ask for the check. And a previous time we went it was a similar scenario. Never came to check on us. Wanted to order another round of drinks but no one ever came to the table and we had to flag down someone for the check. We waited over 20 minutes to get the check and wanted to pay cash and had to wait even more for the change. It was just awful. The food is truly the best, but unfortunately the service needs some...
