The staff at this location is generally very friendly. The food, of course; is great. The reason for my negative review is simple, and long overdue. This location NEVER opens on time. There are decals on all the entry doors, and the drive-thru window stating that this location opens at 7:00am. The website says they open at 7:00am. In practice, they generally do not open until 8:00am or later. My morning travels take my this route, and I used to visit this location several times a week (before the owner passed away a few years ago) with no issues. The last few years however; there have been DOZENS of occasions where I will sit at the speaker for 10 minutes or longer, and never have my order taken (Yes, there are people in the store) once or twice, after an extended period of waiting, I will have my order taken, and be told "Sorry, we just opened". Now I can understand that occasionally something may happen which prevents the store from opening at a timely manner. But every single day? As a former Quick Service manager for over a decade, I can only say that it is obvious that the Area or District manager(s) of this location obviously has no idea what is going on, or does not care. This morning (22 October 2019) no employees even showed up to the store until 7:25am; while I was already waiting in the Drive-Thru. Now all this may seem inconsequential, or 'nit-picky', but the fact remains that you are advertising this location to be open at a certain time, and it never is. The way I see it, there are two options (if customer satisfaction is a priority):

Read moreWe will not be coming back to this DQ. The manager here was absolutely horrible. They had a new employee ringing people up, which is fine. We got the $7 meal, and my husband asked for the blizzard upgrade over the sundae. Which on their sign says upgrade to a small blizzard for $2 more. We ate our meal first and then went up after for our ice cream. The manager made a mini blizzard, and we said it should have been small. She bickers with us and says your receipt says a mini. We say then the guy ringing us up must have typed it in wrong. Instead of owning up to the mistake and just making the right size, she claims she'll have to upcharge us the difference, which was like .20. My husband refused and instead asked for the $2 refund from the blizzard. So, instead of just accepting that her employee made a mistake and eating the .20 difference, she lost her store more $$ by absolutely horrible customer service and losing customers. Read moreThe initial services was good from the lady who took our order. The managers child was running around, kicking seats, and we had to move to get away from him. Then after eating our food, I approached the service counter to get my children's ice cream. I stood for five minutes while the workers paced back and forth, laughing amongst one another and ignoring myself. When they were finally told to assist me, the man asked for a receipt and I explained I already had paid and literally just ate. The heavier lady with bright red hair wanted nothing to do with work, because once explained what was needed, she had attitude. The blizzard I received had literally two pieces of candy in it. We decided to take the blizzard back through the drive thru and was told we couldn't add anything as it was just candy pieces (two pieces apparently is all they can give), while telling us the manager had left and the other man running his mouth in the back. I told them that I wanted to know when the manager was back so I may call her to let her know. They "didn't know". Worst experience ever at a diary queen....
