Wednesday concert was fantastic. The following are neutral facts about what to expect, especially post covid. The kitchen closes at 9. They do not serve coffee at the bar. The women's restroom has two stalls. There is an outdoor patio area. The inside is impressive with tall ceilings and exposed wood. Most seating was removed to make way for dancing in the center. There was plenty of seating on the patio and around the perimeter of the dance area. When a drink was spilled in the dance area, it was squeegeed up within 5 minutes. Masks are required for entry. Roughly 80% of people danced without masks on. Side note, if you plan to wear a mask while dancing, wear a mask that has a hydrophobic layer in it or bring multiple masks to exchange once yours gets wet. The outer fabric can get wet, but you don't want that to touch you. The inner layer will get wet with your sweat. Once the mask is soaked, it is less effective.
I had a fantastic time. The room was full but not overcrowded. I would like to bring my own hot coffee next time,...
Read moreMY ATTORNEY WILL BE CONTACTING My friend and I went to this restaurant to enjoy a meal during a real estate business meeting. I had one drink the entire night, shortly later, the owner walked up to me and told me if I drive out of here he will be calling the police on me. I thought it was a joke since my friend and I were having our conversation discretely, so I started smiling which infuriated the owner then he proceeded to start yelling that he will have me arrested if he catches me driving so me and my friend felt uncomfortable, especially we were the only minorities present that day, and decided to leave. The moment we left we got pulled over and the police told me the owner called and clearly the driver is not drinking and that this is ridiculous because my friend that was driving did not drink and that I should have this situation heard from the higher ups. I am disgusted after experiencing such a prejudice restaurant a...
Read moreEven though the place was not busy when we arrived, we had to seat ourselves and order at the bar. After ordering food we were told they would find us. I even stopped another waiter to ask if they need to know where we are sitting to bring out the food, and he said "Yeah, yeah! We'll take care of you." Fourty-some-odd minutes later I was panicking because the band was about to start and the place was getting packed by now. When I approached the bar the food was just sitting there. One of the bartenders gave me the food, but said they didn't know where we went. The dining hall isn't big, and I specifically inquired about this to prevent what I inevitably became a victim of. Don't let them brush you off - demand answers!!...
