Coffee Trader — Restaurant in Hartford

Do not rent a u haul from this place, I feel compelled to tell people so they dont run into the same chaos I had to deal with (MY FIRST REVIEW EVER LEFT). I reserved one in person 7 days before I needed it & the guy never showed up. Never returned my call never responded to the facebook message we sent. He had no idea how his lack of organization & plain out lack of respect for customer service screwed us on our move. A move where we had people standing around, me calling to find another truck while this unorganized owner completely disregarded the situation. I would never buy anything from this guy, not a coffee, not a pizza. If he simply gave me or my wife a courtesy call to apologize (or explained what happened) I wouldn't be writing this. But its pretty clear he does not know how to provide good customer service & he can't remember what is going on in his business. The place I scrambled to find a u haul rental told me this is a common theme with Coffee Trader and rentals, I'm not the first person to tell them this story. I can’t figure out what this place is when I drive by daily. The name is Coffee Trader which makes me believe it has something to do with coffee, however there was also a sign for Christmas trees, a U-Haul or two parked there, a place to buy firewood, park and ride? Then the reviews say they have the best pizza around, so maybe pizzeria? Idk. Too much going on with never any customers in line. Not sure I’d chance it. Either way, keep up the superb...

Local-owned small family business with Colectivo coffees at a drive-thru shop front. Been twice now with the same friendly gentleman at the window both mornings. Drip black coffee is excellent as is the iced/cold-brew coffee; very decently priced.

We were always confused by a for sale sign out front but it must be for something else. Glad we finally popped by, had delightful experiences and can support a small, local business!...
